So far the service has been outstanding. Please note that i have not underwent the surgery yet, due to COVID19 restrictions. However, as soon as i registered interest i was called by Cat, and given all the information necessary. Dr Sutton then took the time to have a lengthy discussion on the pros and cons of different WLS options, answering any and all of my queries. The rest of the team have all made contact, and what i have most liked so far is the transparency and simplified documents supplied, to help me understand each element of the procedure, pre and post-op. It is a very nice feeling to know that there is a group of people who are available and welcome any questions you may have, especially when it is such a major life change. I actually had my heart set on a different clinic, but decided to shop around, and Tonic's professionalism (plus value) swayed me.

Consultations should only be given by one person, a highly experiencedsurgeon who is the only one capable of determining whether you are a suitablecandidate for the surgery that you are asking for.  Counsellors, or nursing, irrespective oftheir experience are not licensed to operate and although they may assist withsimple explanations, you should not allow yourself to be placed in a situationwhere they advise surgery. We do not charge for Consultations. A very high degree of knowledge and skill is required for awell-balanced opinion about the necessity for the operation in which you may beinterested.  You must appreciate thateven when the advice is not in favour of surgery, it comes from a highlyqualified person who has given his time, attention and experience to yourproblem, consulting, both pre and post-operatively accounts for over 50 percent of surgeons times and good ones do not give this time away.  Neither will they tell you that you needsurgery when you don’t. In April I went to Belgium to have my eyelid surgery done. A friend and I were doing some research on clinics and Belgium’s response rate, photos on the website, cost and general services, made it our best option. It was really good value for money. I’m so pleased with the results and would do it all over again if given the chance. The follow-up was done at their London-based surgery and I had the stitches removed there too. Downtime was only three days.

Writing this review about Mr A and his expertise has been one of the greatest honours to date. I went to see Mr A this year due to struggling with my weight for many years due to PCOs and hormonal issues and have seen that gastric sleeve surgery has a great success rate for it. During my consultation, I was informed about the different gastric surgeries available and informed about the risks and complications with each one. Nevertheless, I quickly knew that going to Mr A I would be in the best hands and decided to proceed with booking in for a couple of weeks after. Now, due to the extreme heatwave and already feeling quite swollen I was able to change my appointment to a later date with no issues. I saw Mr A one more time to sign my consent forms prior to my surgery and he answered any questions with his great knowledge. As I am writing this feedback one week post op, I also want to mentioned what a smooth process my surgery was with no complications apart from being greatly concerned that I have NO pains, aches, discomfort since my surgery date. Even upon discharge, I have had NO issues at home and have been able to return to work 1 week later which a great big smile on my face. Mr A, thank you to you and your team for changing my life and being able to perform these high risk surgeries with no issues.
