Novemed Bariatric Center

I flew from New Zealand and had my surgery on the 15th of April 2024.

It was amazing to have my Dietitian- Sena there with me literally every step of the way (through pre-op test and post-surgery) to clarify any questions or concerns I had.

I felt at ease having her there with me due to the language barrier and the nerves. The surgery itself went well and everything that was going to happen was explained thoroughly to me. The care from nurses and staff at Novemed was excellent - nurses checked in with me regularly throughout the day and night and Novemed also provided transport to and from the airport/hotel and hospital - even they were prompt and very friendly. Would highly recommend it to anyone looking into WLS.

Had a gastric sleeve 2 days ago and feeling great at this stage. Everything went smoothly and was thoroughly explained at each stage of the process. Sena was with me every step of the way and was incredible in explaining things and making sure I was happy and comfortable. She is an absolute asset to the team.

The surgeon was fantastic and couldn’t fault him at all. He came around every day to check on me and made me feel at ease.
I can’t fault the service I have received and would definitely recommend it to others.

I am excited to continue my journey and lose weight.

Dr. Necdet Derici and the whole team are amazing; everything has been going smoothly from day 1. Information and any questions are addressed straight away. The professionals not only exhibited a high level of expertise but also approached their work with warmth and friendliness. I had my surgery 2 days ago at Novemed clinic. Everything went so smoothly from the airport pick up, hotel stay and pick up to the surgeons and a special shout out to Sena Dietician who made everything so much easier, she was there with me all the time for the whole process, met me at the hospital door, came with me to the tests and explained everything. Dr Derici was my surgeon and was so friendly, he was coming every morning and afternoon to check on me with his team. I highly recommend it!

Great hospital, The staff are really friendly and do what they can, the surgeon comes to visit every morning and evening and before check out. The coordinator is really helpful and keeps you up to date with everything.

Thank you to all of the team at Novemed! They are well organised, the hospital is clean and everything was taken care of. I couldn’t have done it without Sena who was so patient, she listened to my concerns and got surgeon Dr Derici to come to meet with me before the procedure. Sean was right by my side the entire way.

The surgeon came to visit every evening before leaving and every morning when he came back to work. If you are considering a gastric sleeve, this is the place you want to have it. My tiny incisions were neat, pain relief was on time around the clock, and I didn’t have to call for anyone. I give them 5 stars.

I recently underwent gastric sleeve surgery with Novemed. The team is very well organised from initial consultation through to discharge. I did experience a slight complication, however, Dr Necdet Derici was quick to identify the problem and acted quickly.
The team continue to look after you post-op and is always available to answer any questions.

I would also like to thank Sheila and Sumeyra (dietitians) for their advice and guidance on long-term diet was great. I have learnt a lot from these ladies. I wouldn’t hesitate to recommend Novomed.

Very friendly staff and a great experience, I can recommend novemed centre

1 week post Op x highly recommend Necdet Derici and Novemed. Myself and my daughter both had the Sleeve on the same day. Transport was spot on and our lovely co-ordinator was there to help us with any questions.

I am post-op gastric sleeve with Novemed and could not be happier! The whole experience has been seamless, from airport pick-up to surgery, to hotel stay. Every member of staff at the hospital was so friendly and welcoming, and the hospital cleanliness standards were second to none.

I would definitely recommend Novemed to anyone considering bariatric surgery.
