Dr. Suleyman Akilli I have just him for my sleeve and for my plastics I will never be able to thank him and the nurses enough fantastic surgeon and spotlessly clean hospital. I will be back and would recommend anyone to use him you won't be disappointed. From surgeon to lifelong friend

I couldn’t recommend Dr Suleyman Akilli enough. He was a brilliant surgeon, he did such thorough tests prior to the operation and picked up I needed a blood transfusion before the surgery went ahead as well as after, something that had been missed in the UK!

All the nurses are really caring and his PA was always on hand to speak to and the transfer to and from the hospital is five-star. I am three stone down in 7 weeks and so looking forward to seeing more results. Dr Suleyman keeps in touch after the surgery to check on progress and always responds to any questions. Anyone who is on the fence debating whether to have this surgery, just do it, I wish I had sooner, you won’t regret it!

If you are thinking about a gastric sleeve, my advice to you is stop thinking about it and go and see Dr Süleyman.

He and Arina are first class from first contact. Please do not have a second thought about going out the country, in my opinion it’s better than the NHS. The staff aren’t anywhere near as stretched and the care is better. The nurses are none stop fussing around you, infact to the point where it might even feel a bit no much to some people. The aftercare is there for ever, they have even asked me to return and seen him when my weight has started to move, you are given a full diet, they even buy your meal to take home, medication to take home until you don’t need to take it any more. I have text Dr Süleyman a few questions and he returns my messages instantly.

I was very apprehensive before I went, but now I’ve been I’ll shout from the highest building how good it’s been.

My friend and I both chose Dr Suleyman Akilli for the gastric sleeve and so glad we did!!!!!! We travelled from Glasgow, Scotland. Everything has been amazing from start to finish! We were looked after and received 5 star treatment throughout the whole process!

From booking and even now beyond surgery both Suleyman and Arina are always on hand to reply to any messages. We have zero regrets and would happily recommend 100% to anyone who is considering surgery. The hospital is immaculate and nothing was a problem! We are almost four weeks out and feeling AMAZING.

I flew from Newcastle (England) to meet with Dr.Suleyman Akilli I was very nervous and had so many mixed emotions. Dr.Suleyman Akilli was recommend to me by a friend and I am so pleased I chose him as my Dr for the biggest journey of my life.

From the moment I stepped off the plane and met Arina who by the way is an absolute super star, everything felt real. I met Dr Suleyman Akilli once I was settled in my room and he instantly put me at ease and made me feel safe and comfortable and answered any questions I had.

My whole experience has been a roller coaster I have had so many different emotions going through my body. I felt some pain with the gas which was uncomfortable but the nurses are there when ever I needed them and kept me comfortable and topped up on the appropriate pain killers and fluids … just two days after my operation I felt like a different person next to no pain and I was outside going for a walk and looking around shops.

I really can not thank the nurses enough on the ward they were all so helpful and comforting when I would have a crying episode. My room was so clean and had everything I would need whilst on my stay. I will never forget the words Dr Suleyman Akilli said to me on the morning I was being discharged “ when you walk out those doors it is not the end it is just the beginning of my future “ these words will stick with me forever and I am so grateful for the care he and his team have given me.

Thank you so much from the bottom of my heart you truly are a wonderful man with a wonderful team behind you from nurses to cleaners. Anyone who is looking into having surgery I could not recommend Dr Suleyman Akilli and his team enough.

I had an amazing experience with dr. Suleyman Akilli. From booking my gastric sleeve surgery, to during and after my surgery. The whole process was explained to me thoroughly and the after care in the hospital was amazing. I was able to contact someone 24/7 with any questions/ worries I had and I’d get a reply straight away.

I couldn’t of been any better looked after. I’m so grateful to Dr Suleyman for changing my life. I’ve finally got my confidence back and this is only the start of my journey. I’m nowhere near to where I want to be yet, but if I feel this good only 2 months post op I’m excited to see how I feel 1 year post op.

Fantastic service from the start. Everything explained / options given face to face before the procedure. All medical checks carried out before the procedure in great detail. Dr is fantastic and knowledgeable. Excellent bed side manner from the nursing team.

No language barriers etc. Attention to detail good. Follow up from medical team after the procedure and Dr continues to touch base / follow up. I would recommend Dr S to friends and family.

Having just returned home (UK) today after having an gastric sleeve surgery I couldn't recommend Dr Suleyman Akilli enough. I'm in complete awe at the minimal scarring (4 mini insertion holes) and lack of pain. The experience as a whole was far beyond my expectations.

I was visited before surgery by Dr Suleyman and regularly after surgery. He always had a welcoming smile and very pleasant to talk to. I would also like to mention the level of professionalism from all the nurses on ward 6 Zarife, Ufuk, Kadriye, Aynur and Nuray. My main concern for surgery abroad was the language barrier and despite me not being able to speak a word in Turkish, this was not an issue at all.

The kindness, patience, and incredible level of care you ladies provide was above and beyond. It was you ladies that really kept me comfortable and out of any discomfort the whole time and I'm truly grateful. Antalya Yasam Hastaneleri is truly lucky to have you guys. I would also like to mention the cooks and the cleaners.

The food was delicious and the level of cleanliness was above and beyond any standards I've experienced within the UK. And lastly, a massive thank you to Arina who from day one (when I first began inquiring about the surgery) has been phenomenal. From arranging the pick ups, all the screening and tests that are carried out beforehand, translating for us, to even pleasant conversation made this whole experience smooth.

My nan hasn't stopped talking about how wonderful you had all treated her (as she was my companion). Highly recommended. Phenomenal service, even more phenomenal staff. I'm truly grateful. Thank you for changing my life.

Had a sleeve on 23rd June. The process was very good and efficient. All relevant checks were completed day before and day of the surgery. Met Mr Sulyalman Akilli before the operation which did give me confidence.

Surgery went well, with no issues or complications. The stay at the hospital was good considering it is a hospital. Nurses are fabulous, really look after you. Had enough pain meds, antibiotics, etc, never had to ask Dr Akilli and his team is great.

I would definitely recommend Mr Sulyman Akilli, he is such a lovely man and made time to chat after surgery with any questions. Really happy. Massive shout out to Arina, hospital coordinator at Yasam hastanesi as she was fabulous helping me.

I travelled from Northern Ireland for my Gastric Sleeve surgery on the 12th November 2021. I met Dr Suleyman the next morning in person for the first time and after chatting about the procedure and sorting out all of the pre op tests which were very thorough he totally put me at ease and I was so happy I had made the decision to go with Dr Suleyman. I arrived at the hospital early on the morning of surgery and was settled into my private room. The nurses were lovely and very reassuring. I was taken down to theatre and the lovely nurse stayed with me and held my hand.

I woke up as I was brought back to my room and Dr Suleyman was there and checking along with the nurses that I was doing ok. I felt great and took a walk with Dr Suleyman shortly after. The hospital and all it's staff were amazing and I was very well looked after during my stay. I also have amazing aftercare from Dr Suleyman and if I need to check something he is always available to help. I have lost 37kg to date and am still losing. I'm coming back for a visit and am so looking forward to catching up with Dr Suleyman. The care received prior and after surgery was so much better than I would have received at home. Best decision I ever made.

I travelled to Turkey after researching for just under a year after having failed balloon surgery in the UK. I found Dr Suleyman through Ace medical tourism and instantly felt at ease. From the moment I arrived at the hospital the day before surgery for pre op checks to the day I left 4 days post op I felt in safe hands. I was constantly kept involved in my care and reassured. Initially concerned about travelling abroad for surgery but one of the best things I ever did. I was on a slippery slope into health problems because of my out of control weight, I tried all the diets but they never worked. 3 months and 3 stone down, the hospital was efficient and very clean. Staff were really attentive and I didn't want for anything. My surgeon was amazing was always checking in on me. He even made sure my husband who accompanied me didn't go without anything either. I had a gastric sleeve with Dr Suleyman Akilli on April 5th 2022. From the moment I met this lovely gentleman, I felt completely at ease. The tests taken before my operation were numerous and made me feel that everything was done professionally and thoroughly. I was in the hospital for 3 nights and my care was 24/7 the lovely nurses were so kind and sweet. My Coordinator Arina was incredible. She was with me every step of the way and translated everything and put me at ease. Since leaving the hospital I have not taken one pain killer. I already weigh 22lb less and am so pleased that I had this surgery But even more pleased that I chose this incredible surgeon and his amazing team. I highly recommend
