Dr Anastasios Tsechpenakis

Dr Tsechpenakis, born in Athens, was raised in the city of Chalkis where he graduated from high school. After examinations he entered the Medical School of Athens University, studied and graduated with scholarship. He specialized in General Surgery in “Laiko” General Hospital of Athens and received the Master of Science degree of University of Athens on Minimal Invasive Surgey, Robotic Surgery and Telesurgery. He received further training on advanced laparoscopic Surgery in two medical centers in the USA (University of Miami, University of Connecticut). He attended the Fellowship Course on Minimal Access Surgery of World Association of Laparoscopic Surgeons in New Delhi, India and several other surgical courses in Greece and abroad. He is trained and certified on the use of the DaVinci surgical robotic system (IRCAD – University of Strasbourg). Dr Tsechpenakis is a Fellow of the American College of Surgeons and member of numerous surgical societies and associations. He is author of scientific papers, articles and books and presenter in medical congresses. He speaks fluently English, German and Greek (native), he works in Athens Euroclinic and his private practice is centrally located in Athens. He has a second office in the city of Kalamata (Peloponnese, Greece), where he receives patients on regular and scheduled basis.
