Dr. Moorcroft has 20 years of clinical experience and is one of the most highly trained Integrative and Functional Medicine doctors in the UK. She is also a Core Tutor at the National Centre of Integrated Medicine in Bristol (NCIM).

Combining functional and nutritional medicine, herbal medicine, homeopathy, bio-identical hormone and natural desiccated thyroid therapy in her clinic. She has a special interest in women's health, menopause, gut health and psychology.

Dr. Sally invites patients into a warm, welcoming and empathetic clinical environment to discuss their needs. Working with you to produce a highly tailored individual treatment plan with personalised on-going monitoring and care.

Her qualifications include a BSc (Hons) in Herbal Medicine, Medical Homeopathy (MFHom) through the National Centre for Integrative Medicine, Bristol. She is also trained in Traditional Chinese Medicine, Medical Acupuncture and Bio-Identical Hormone Therapy/ Natural Dessicated Thyroid at the Marion Gluck Clinic, London.

Dr Moorcroft is passionate about using a personalised, holistic and root cause approach. Highly skilled in using herbal medicine in women’s health, from a phytotherapy and TCM approach. She is a graduate of the AFMCP (Applying Functional Medicine in Clinical Practice) and has completed all the Advanced Practice Modules in Hormone Health, Cardiometabolic, Environmental Health, Bioenergetics, Immune and GI. She

She has featured in Woman and Home, Natural Health, Health and Wellbeing, Channel 4 and many online national magazines, blogs and podcasts. Lecturing nationally on women's health and integrative medicine, Dr. Sally has also appeared on Health Radio UK and is a medical expert for BeYou.

Nathalie has a BSc in Nutritional Medicine from the University of West London and a BSc (Hon) in Psychology.   She is a BANT Registered Nutritionist working in the community and a Registered Nutritional Therapy Practitioner, CNHC. Nathalie takes a functional approach in practice, drawing on evidence-based research to provide dietary advice.

The Institute for Functional Medicine teaches health care professional’s how to apply evidence based principles in practice through an intensive 5-day training course called Applying Functional Medicine in Clinical Practice™. Nathalie attended and completed the AFMCP™-UK training in London in 2017. She has also been accepted onto the IFM Certification program. 

​Nathalie attended Genessnippers UK training in 2018 and in 2019 passed the competency assessment in clinical nutrigenomics.   Nathalie is competent in understanding and interpreting DNA results and is certified as a Nutrigenetic counsellor (NgC).

Functional Medicine Doctor

Dr. Preet qualified from The University of Birmingham in 2013. She has been an NHS hospital doctor for 8 years and has spent her time working in various medical specialties including acute internal medicine, diabetes and general medicine in the Yorkshire region. Alongside 2 years training in psychiatry. She has had a longstanding and keen interest in nutrition and holistic health throughout her career, and is a member of The Yorkshire Wellness Group.

She completed the Institute of Functional Medicine AFMCP training in 2018. 

Registered Nutritional Therapist

Jane has a BSc degree in Nutritional Medicine and has been practising for more than 7 years. She is BANT and Complementary and Natural Healthcare Council registered.

Jane has attended and completed the AFMCP™-UK (Applying Functional Medicine in Clinical Practice™), training in London in 2017 and then in 2019 a module in gastro-intestinal support. In 2021 she added 2 further Functional Medicine modules – The Immune System and the Cardio-Metabolic module.

Her area of nutritional expertise is:

Supportive programmes for people affected by cancer,

Kate Knapik is a registered pharmacist and naturopathic nutritionist with functional medicine training. With 10 years experience as a community pharmacist, she also has a diploma in Naturopathic Nutrition, is a member of BANT, the General Naturopathic Council, College of Naturopathic Medicine and Complementary and Natural Healthcare Council.

She has undergone training in functional medicine with the Kharrazian institute. Her area of special interest is Thyroid Health and she is part of the “The Thyroid Collective". 

Arabella Hambro heads up our Children's and Teenage clinic, qualifying from The College of Naturopathic Medicine in 2017, she is a BANT registered Nutritional Therapist, with further training in Functional Medicine from the Applied Functional Medicine Mentoring Programme. After qualifying she went on to work as part of a team of Nutritional Therapists supporting children's health. This sparked a great interest in this area. She believes addressing health issues at a young age can enable people to live healthier and happier lifestyles as they grow into adulthood.  With a background as a Montessori teacher she is uniquely qualified to listen to and support children and teens, helping them to develop a positive and joyful relationship with food and their health.

Herbal Medicine Practitioner

Laura qualified as a medical herbalist with a first class BSc honours degree from Lincoln University in 2017. She is also a professional member of The National Institute of Medical Herbalists.

Naturally having a down to earth approach, Laura enjoys helping people find balance in their health and well being. She believes that the road to health should be a collaborative journey in which patient and practitioner work together to achieve lasting results. Empowering and teaching along the way. 

Laura treats all conditions in her practice from digestive problems, to skin complaints, to arthritis, to anxiety. A great listener, Laura has a particular interest in emotional conditions and in how emotions can affect one's health.

When not working at Orchard Barn Health Laura would most likely be found out in nature with her family and faithful Labrador. Always on the look out for a new adventure!

Emma qualified as a Bowen Therapist in 2018 after studying Bowen Therapy with The College of Bowen Studies. 

She is also a Beauty Therapist who has gone on to study many healing holistic therapies including Shamanic Healing, Reiki and Reflexology. 

Amy spent three years studying for her BSc (Hons) Acupuncture degree at The University Of Lincoln, graduating in 2007. As a full member of the British Acupuncture Council the practice is fully regulated and conforms to the highest standards. This ensures appropriate PPE is used and the room is fully sanitised after each appointment.

Amy practises Traditional Chinese Medicine (TCM), providing acupuncture treatments which may also include acupressure massage, cupping and moxibustion.
