I qualified from the International college of Oriental Medicine with a BA(Hons) and Licentiate of Acupuncture after four years of study.  I am a member of the British Acupuncture Council (MBAcC) and comply with current UK health and safety legislation.  I am appropriately insured and honour a strict code of discipline, ethics, hygiene and confidentiality between patient and practitioner. I keep up to date with new research and techniques by attending a variety of Continuing Professional Development (CPD) courses each year including the British Acupuncture Council's annual conference. I enjoy the variety of general practice, and am passionate about sharing the benefits of this wonderful system of medicine with my patients. I also have special interests in emotional issues including anxiety and depression, and also in using Acupuncture for male and female fertility concerns and gynaecological problems. 

Lesley Reed has been treating people for a variety of symptoms over the last two years. She has a BSc (Hons) degree in acupuncture from the International College of Oriental Medicine (ICOM) following a three year course of study and is a full member of the British Acupuncture Council (BAcC), abiding by their strict code of practice.  She also has qualifications in massage and reflexology.She incorporates Traditional Chinese Medicine with Five Element and Stems and Branches in her acupuncture treatment and has been particularly recommended by others for her reassuring, calm manner and her professionalism – especially when dealing with nervous or special needs clients.Lesley has experience in using acupuncture to treat many problems, but she has a special interest in fertility, panic/anxiety and facial revitalisation acupuncture.

The Acupuncture Clinic Herstmonceux was opened in 2003. It is a relaxing, bright clinic situated in the centre of the village. The clinic is easy to find, there is plenty of local parking and there are no steps into the clinic.

Nikki Penny Stroke and Neurological Physiotherapy Clinic provides treatment of patients with injury or disease of the central nervous system. Some common central nervous system disorders may include stroke, head injuries, multiple sclerosis, spinal cord injuries and Parkinson's disease. Treatment begins with an extensive evaluation by one of the five certified physiotherapists. The rehabilitation offers one or more treatments including acupuncture, pilates, strength training and orthotic treatments.
