About Belfast Community Acupuncture

Belfast Community Acupuncture offers friendly, gentle, ethical and affordable solutions to pain, stress and illness. Belfast Community Acupuncture operates part-time clinics out of different locations.

Prices: Sliding Scale (you choose) £15 - £30

What is Acupuncture Used For?
Acupuncture is used to successfully treat a wide variety of health concerns such as arthritis, neck and back pain, sports injuries, sciatica, sprains and strains, stress, depression, anxiety, digestive problems, menstrual cycle, fatigue, the side effects of medical treatments eg chemotherapy or ivf, assisting in recovering from illness and the management of other symptoms where full and permanent recovery is unrealistic.

The World Health Organisation lists about 28 conditions for which acupuncture has proven results plus many others for which there is some evidence but need of greater research.

Please contact us and we will discuss your condition. We will discuss your particular health concern and what you might hope to achieve with acupuncture based on our training, clinical experience, the available evidence base and your own wishes and expectations.  If acupuncture is applicable to your condition we normally recommend reviewing the treatment goal after 3-4 treatments in order to assess what might realistically be achieved and in how many treatments.

A warm welcome awaits!  Best wishes Emma and Mary

Many thanks Jessica for taking the time to write us a review. It means a lot to us and I really appreciate it. Most of all I'm glad you benefited from the acupuncture, which was an integrated orthopaedic sports medicine and traditional Chinese style taught by Whitfield Reaves, an industry specialist.

Belfast Community Acupuncture responded to this review:

Hello Pamela! Good to hear from you and thank you so much for your kind review of Belfast Community Acupuncture. I am delighted that you are pleased with our service and awarded us such high marks. It was a pleasure to meet you and I look forward to welcoming you back in to our clinic. Warmest regards, Emma. I would like to offer a little more information on our clinic venues for the benefit of other readers. We currently operate two part-time clinics (South Belfast and City Centre). In South Belfast, Shaftesbury Recreation Centre is a popular sports centre and won Belfast City Council Sports Centre of the Year in 2013. The centre welcomes all without exception and the modern sports centre, gym and fitness classes are filled with South Belfast Residents, city centre workers and visitors from across the city. There are few other places so close to the city centre to offer such diversity of quality services at low cost, and with free parking which is so convenient for drivers, and especially for people with mobility issues. Pictures of the clinics can be found on our facebook page www.facebook.com/belfastacupuncture or our website www.belfastcommunityacupuncture.com Belfast Community Acupuncture also offers appointments in the trendy Cathedral Quarter of Belfast City Centre, at the beautifully ambient Flow Yoga Studio. It is planned to expand to further part-time appointments in North Belfast later this year. We are truly offering acupuncture in the community at affordable rates! I would encourage anyone with questions about Belfast Community Acupuncture to contact me at emma@belfastcommunityacupuncture.com
