I visited Julie in desperation to help me with my cluster headaches. Never did I know how rare, complicated and severe the condition was before I was diagnosed. The doctors couldn't even help but the neurologists could only help manage my attacks. Just 3 sessions of acupuncture and herbal medicine have improved my condition by 80%. (Im still undergoing treatment and I swear by it) Julie is not only friendly and polite but a professional with an ocean of knowledge on human health and various illnesses and diseases and advising the best treatment for the patient. Electro-Acupuncture from £40
In 1934, a book was published in China in the use of electro-acupuncture using direct current onto acupuncture needles. By the late 1950’s, electro-acupuncture was being used in Chinese hospitals as surgical anaesthesia. There has been much research involving electro-acupuncture in the last 20 years in China but also in the west. The modern electro-acupuncture machines are quite small and use batteries as their power source. Small clips attached to wires interlink from the machine to the inserted acupuncture needles. Then a current is activated and the patient feels what has been described as a mild thumping pulse or a feeling of a wave, almost like the skin is being stroked with a feather. One condition that it is being used for more and more is for stroke rehabilitation.Other uses include:Sports injuries, Immune disorders, Asthma, Bell’s palsy,Cancer,Allergies,Eczema,Psoriasis, Viral infections such as herpes zoster,Induction of labor,Ovulation and fertility enhancement, Menopause, Irritable bowel,Cholecystitis etc.

The service at One Acupuncture is top-notch. Alison is very highly trained and experienced so can use the latest developments with Traditional Acupuncture to help complex health conditions. Alison is warm, efficient and intuitive and is helping me regain my energy and zest for life after a long, draining couple of years working through the Covid pandemic in mental health services. Laura, the clinic's front of the house, is equally warm, welcoming and responsive. You will not be disappointed. The clinic is beautiful, clean and light. It is a place to recharge and regain your health.
