Rating from 3 Reviews Informed of foods to avoid during fertility treatmentEileen/Martin, Cork Ireland , 24 Sep 15

Manuela Lopez was excellent and I was there for Fertility Acupuncture and she was very supportive and highly skilled. She advised before the treatment and also advised after the treatment. She was able to tell me the foods to avoid for the 2 weeks etc. Very Good and very welcoming and extremely professional. She spent great time with you and was very detailed in her approach and came into the room 2-3 times to work some more on the particular areas.

IVF Spain Alicante S.L.

Avenida Ansaldo, 13, Alicante, 03540
Rating from 2 Reviews They have made us the happiest people on the planet!Anonymous, Germany, 16 Jun 15

We decided on egg donation because it was the only sensible option for us with me being nearly 50. 17% of Spaniards have blond hair and blue eyes, important for us, because we both have blond hair and blue eyes, so technically, we could only produce a baby with blond or red hair and blue eyes. IVF Spain has a very big pool of egg donors, making it relatively easy for them to match patients' phenotypes quickly. I've had prior (sadly unsuccessful) pregnancies, so the clinic said that it was only a matter of time and drugs before they got me (and kept me) pregnant. Given that it worked the first time, and I'm through my first trimester and the foetus is looking great and dancing around in my uterus during our Ultrasounds, we believe that this clinic provides the ultimate best value for the money. We did 3 trial cycles, and paid for the ultrasounds privately in our home country, to see how thick the uterine lining was. We were very lucky that our OB/Gyn 'back home' was supportive and sweet and wonderful, and supported us in our hopes from before treatment, and he and his wonderful nurses continue to support us so much. We're hoping everything continues to go well, and look forward to winter this year so much! :-) From the first Skype contact in September 2013, to our first IVF attempt with a donor egg, that worked RIGHT AWAY in April 2015, we have had nothing but a fantastically positive experience with IVF Spain Alicante. The clinic is in a lovely neighbourhood of Alicante. There is a nice hotel nearby, or you can rent an apartment through the clinic, or rent one privately through Trip Advisor - your choice. It depends on what you want. We personally needed to be budget conscious, so we rented privately, and cooked our own meals. The staff at the clinic are superb, calming, polite, kind-hearted, warm, friendly and discreet. They are good at knowing what each client needs. Clients who are culturally more reserved, receive the assistance they require - I'm trying to say that they match their customer service to the vastly diverse patients that they receive from all over the world. I can only guess how many languages are spoken in the clinic, and at a very high level. I chose them because the doctor that I had switched effortlessly in our Skype conversation, between German and English - important for me, because my partner does not speak English. We needed to save up for our treatment, and they were very patient with me, as I asked all my questions over the 19 months that we needed to save up. Finally it was time for treatment. We felt comfortable, and they were simply wonderful. Such sympathetic nurses, biologists, and the best doctor. Our doctor printed off an ultrasound pic for me, and said, "One for the Mama" and printed off two for my partner, and said, "Two for the Papa". And I asked, "Do you think it could really happen, just like that, the very first time?" and she said, "Of course!". And you know what? She was right! On the screen, written in the surface of our petri dish, one of the nurses wrote "Viel Glueck" - "Lots of Luck". We'll never forget our wonderful experience at IVF Spain Alicante, and hope to be able to send them a birth announcement in December of 2015. If you haven't had a previous pregnancy, you might need more than one try - not everyone is the same... but I hope you will consider this clinic. They have made us the happiest people on the planet!

I had been unhappy with my droopy upper eyelids for some time, (hereditary!) I saw another Doctor who recommended I had lower eyelids done as well, as it didn't cost too much more, I decided to go for it, I had them done at a clinic in Alicante under local anaesthetic in November 2014, it was very uncomfortable, until the stitches came out but not painful, one of the worst things for me was having to sleep sitting up for the first few nights I did notice that my right eyelid drooped slightly more than the left but was told it would right itself once the stitches were out & they had healed, but it hasn't, although I'm told it's only noticeable when pointed out. I had to come back to the UK to live permanently in Dec, so to be fair I have not given him the chance to put it right, on the whole I'm pleased with the results, I paid 3,800 euros, much cheaper than the Uk! & I'm glad I had them done, it's given me more confidence. All very pleasant, hard to get hold of sometimes! My friend had fillers and was very pleased with them, I went to Medicare on recommendation & I would certainly recommend them, all their prices are much cheaper & the standard is very good
