About Acupuncture Point

Acupuncture Point is led by Catherine Laverty, Acupuncturist, Naturopath, and retired Registered Nurse.  Catherine practices in a highly professional, caring, and confidential manner. 

Catherine has a special interest in fertility and pregnancy care having done post graduate studies in these areas.

Biography:
Qualified as a Registered Nurse in her native Australia in 2001. Since then she has worked in many specialty areas of nursing including Theatre, Palliative Care (hospice), caring for adults with autism, and Endoscopy. It was while looking after young adults with autism and witnessing the difficulties they faced, that prompted Catherine to pursue her interest in natural medicine and what it had to offer. Catherine obtained a diploma in Acupuncture and Naturopathy from the College of Naturopathic Medicine in 2010.
