About Acupuncture Zone

Acupuncture is a very effective treatment for many ailments.

I regularly treat people for:

Training:

I trained in The Lansdowne School of Acupuncture under the excellent tutelage of Dr. Vincent Carroll. I graduated with a Diploma in Traditional Chinese Medicine and a Certificate in Clinical medicine.

I have done additional training in Auricular acupuncture and Cosmetic acupuncture. 

Professional Body:

I am a member of the ACI. The Acupuncture Council of Ireland is responsible for regulation and maintenance of a Register of Acupuncturists. Only fully qualified and insured practitioners can become members of the organisation. All members are bound by the Codes of Ethics and Code of Practice, which is Strictly Enforced by the Traditional Chinese Medicine Council of Ireland, thus offering a guarantee of confidence to any patient seeking treatment.

I am fully insured. I carry Professional Indemnity and Public Liability Insurance Cover. It is a condition of membership of the ACI that each member carries Professional Indemnity and Public Liability Insurance Cover. Members of The Acupuncture Council of Ireland are approved by all major private health insurance companies and the HSF health plan for out-patient insurance.

Very pleasant and relaxing

I've had back trouble for a long time. After one session at the clinic I felt much better. Acupuncture and slide cupping were used in the treatment. I never had slide cupping done before. It gave immediate relief and was very pleasant and relaxing.

Very relaxing experience

5 50 Cosmetic Acupuncture • Paid: €60

Very friendly and helpful staff. I never had cosmetic acupuncture before. I didn't want to go down the invasive therapy route for my worry lines on my forehead so I decided to try this.
I've had 2 sessions so far. It's a very relaxing experience.

My problem was gone

Clare sorted out my elbow problems. I had a persistent problem with pain around my right elbow. As a hairdresser I can't afford to have problems in this area.
After 3 sessions with Clare my problem was gone.

Was very calm

I was very pleased with Clare's treatment. I was advised by my friend to attend Clare. I heard acupuncture was very good in combination with IVF treatment. I am now pregnant and feel the acupuncture helped. Clare was very calm and helped me relax and knew lots of information about the IVF process. I don't think I could have got through the whole process without her!

Biography:

Background
My background is in IT. It may seem a strange career change to go from IT to acupuncture. I suppose it is! The major upside of my background is that I fully understand the real issues and problems facing the ordinary person in the ‘real’ world. I came into acupuncture with a knowledge of the issues and a desire to help people with the day to day problems they face. I hope the logic of my computing background, the natural empathy I possess and my fresh approach to training in acupuncture will lead me to help you find your solution to your problem.
