Dr Eli Thomas - at Health in Flow Chinese Medicine

Dr Eli Thomas

Biography:
Dr. Eli Thomas combines her curious nature and love of problem-solving with a double degree in Human Biology and Chinese Medicine from RMIT University, to achieve optimal health outcomes for her clients. A struggle with her own health, and the experience of being a passive ‘passenger’ through the western medical system led her down the path of exploring what health means to the individual, and how to maintain it, across cultural and historical bounds. Eli turned to alternative therapies to provide deeper understanding of the body-mind connection and support for the very personal journey of healing. This included immersing herself in an urban-yogic lifestyle, studying women’s mysteries, and travelling through Taoist temples and Buddhist monasteries whilst undertaking a clinical Chinese Medicine internship in Nanjing, China.
