Rodd Sanchez has many traits which make him a well rounded health practitioner from compassion, to empathy and devotion. He manages and operates two alternative medicine practices specialising in modern and traditional professional acupuncture and Chinese herbal medicine. He is proud to provide an extensive range of services including acupuncture (both traditional and modern), laser and light therapy acupuncture, Chinese herbal medicine, alternative medicine, auriculotherapy (ear acupuncture), oriental body works and facial rejuvenation. Rodd has a continued 22 year background in the health industry working in major health care facilities and hospitals in Sydney. His extensive training is the cornerstone of his integration of modern techniques with traditional methods. Rodd Sanchez Acupuncture Specialist applies and incorporates the many different modalities, theories and ideology of traditional, classical and oriental medicine to strengthen its integration with modern techniques. Using concepts from ancient China following a long lineage of esteemed scholars and physicians which are based on a tradition of more than 2,000 years. Some of these masters of the art of health have given us vital information and wisdom and include, Zhang Zhongjing, Hua Tuo, Sun Simiao, Tao Hongjing, Zhang Jiegu, Li Shizhen and Li Dong Yuan. Rodd Sanchez’s traditional medicine career includes a decade of senior lecturing and student clinic coordinator at the Sydney Institute of Traditional Chinese Medicine in both western medical sciences (Anatomy, biochemistry and physiology) and Chinese medicine fields. Rodd was also the acupuncture lecturer for the undergraduate program of Health Science at the University of Western Sydney. Rodd conducts seminars and professional education presentations throughout Australia in the fields of acupuncture, herbal medicine, alternative medicine, point injection, nutrition and senior first aid.
