At KM injury Clinic we understand that every person has individual needs and so treatment is tailored specifically to give you the best results. At the clinic we also have Pilates classes for beginners and intermediate levels on a Tuesday at 6.30pm, Wednesdays at 6.15pm & 7.30pm and Thursdays at 10am. On wednesday morning at 10am we have group BAby Massage classes where new mums and dads came learn how to treat their new addition with a massage. Having been working in this field for 10 years, as well as work experience throughout my 6 years of college (BSc Athletic Therapy &Training from DCU [2010], Dip Sports Therapy [2006]) I have gained a wealth of experience. Some years ago I had treatment at a local podiatrist, which left me very fearful of ever going back to a podiatrist. Though still twitchy, I took the plunge and booked a visit at Flawless Feet. I can say that from the moment I stepped into this clinic, I was put at ease and the whole experience was a very positive one. So much so, I have booked a follow-up appointment. Definitely one to be recommended.

Needling Of Verrucae from $314

Dry needling is an innovative and highly effective treatment for Verrucas that just will not go away. Common verruca treatments, such as Cryotherapy (freezing), or chemical caustics, work by creating a thermal or chemical burn in and around the verruca. This aims to resolve the verruca by creating inflammation and swelling around the area, thereby provoking an immune system response. Dry needling is different. By disrupting each individual papilla in the verruca and creating a portal from the viral tissue to the adipose tissue, it allows the immune system to attack the lesion directly. In this way treating a single verruca can cause spontaneous remission in some or all satellite Verrucas. It has been reported to be highly effective, even for longstanding lesions of ten years or more and has been successful when other treatments have failed. Dry needling is only performed once per verruca. It is carried out under local anaesthetic and most people report only minor soreness for a few days, similar to a bruise.

From early in my career I began practicing and teaching yoga and pilates and began to develop a holistic approach. This led me to studying craniosacral therapy and later visceral manipulation and somatic movement education. Most recently I've been delving deeply into study of trauma and the Nervous System as it is so involved in any chronic health problems. 5 stars out of 5! I went in with a damaged lower back and the care that Rita gave me was superb. She worked an hour straight trying to ease the pain and she explained the process from exercises to what treatment she was providing. Rita is professional, friendly and clearly loves her role as a physio. She explains in detail the aftercare treatment plan when I should return and hopefully when I would see results. I have already booked my next session as I see results already.
