The Physiotherapy Centre is committed to providing the most effective treatment solutions for our clients and is proud to be the only clinic in Liverpool to offer real-time ultrasound feedback and equipment based Clinical Pilates sessions. We have a number of specialist physiotherapy staff at the clinic and we can direct you to the relevent member of staff for treatment. The Physiotherapy Centre is also a recognised teaching centre in the North West and is also a hit amongst professional staff.

Mr Richard Norris

Job Title:
 Physiotherapist
Biography:

Richard Norris (MCSP, AACP, FEA.) qualified from Salford University in 2003 with a first class honours degree in physiotherapy, and is one of the lead clinicians and our in house knee specialist at The Physiotherapy Centre. Prior to embarking on a career in physiotherapy, Richard played football professionally but was forced to retire through injury. It was during this time that he worked closely with Dai Rees; an eminent sports injuries surgeon, and his team of rehabilitation specialists, thus prompting a special interest in this area. Richard has continued to develop these skills and currently holds the post of physiotherapy knee specialist and A&E physiotherapy team lead at Warrington hospital, working alongside Mr Mike McNicholas; consultant orthopaedic knee surgeon and honorary professor at Salford University. He is also one of only 28 assessors worldwide for the unprecedented ACTIVE knee trial, the results of which will be used to guide knee specialists in the most effective treatment techniques for serious knee injury.

Richard treats all the complex lower limb pathologies that present to the clinic. Richard is also able to assess clients for orthotics.
