Cat is a specialist practitioner in musculoskeletal injury assessment, treatment and rehabilitation to a performance standard.

Having graduated from the University of Salford in 2004 with a first class honours degree in Sports Rehabilitation she now has ten years of experience working in musculoskeletal injuries with elite and amateur sports teams including GB Women’s basketball, GB Students Rugby League, Doncaster Knights Rugby club and at the LTA National Tennis Centre; with injured military personnel at DMRC Headley Court, the UK centre for military rehabilitation; with younger athletes part-time in the Chelsea FC Academy as well as previously in Manchester United FC Women’s and Girls teams; and in private physiotherapy and injury clinics with clients from a non-sporting background.

Cat has just finished her MSc in Physiotherapy and has benefited from valuable exposure to clients with varied and more challenging medical histories. Her extensive background has resulted in considerable proficiency in the treatment of acute or chronic injury problems, post-surgery rehabilitation programming, rehabilitation for amputees and high-level trauma patients and also providing soft-tissue therapy for individuals pre-, post- and inter-competition.

As a Kinetic Control Movement Therapist (KCMT), Cat has a special interest in retraining movement dysfunction and bases a lot of her treatment strategies and rehab programmes on this concept, considering the body as a whole dynamic entity rather than one isolated area of injury.

Outside Rebound Cat spends her time road cycling, open water swimming or doing anything that involves being outdoors and in or on the water.
