Biography:
Dave qualified as physiotherapist in 1996 from the University of East London. During the three years he worked locally at Orsett and Harold Wood hospitals and for Westminster Health Care, he gained a background in the treatment of many everyday injuries.
In 1999 he was commissioned as a Captain into the Royal Army Medical Corps. Over the next five years he gained invaluable experience treating high level athletes on a daily basis. He worked as Team Physio for both the Army Snowboard and Downhill Ski teams, he has also worked at the Army Rugby 7’s and Athletics Championships and provided physiotherapy cover at Regimental level to football and rugby teams.
He has also worked with doctors from the British Olympic Team and has treated patients who have represented their countries at Athens 2004. In addition he has represented his Regiment at Hockey, Cross Country Running, Football and Climbing. After five years he returned home to work as the First Team Physiotherapist at Leyton Orient Football Club. Most recently he joined Brentford FC as their First Team physio after 18 months working with the Parachute Regiment based at Colchester.
He has many years of experience in orthopaedics, sport injuries, hydrotherapy, biomechanics, neck and back pain, and has a keen interest in ergonomics. He is particularly skilled in returning post operative patients to full competition.
