Teacher MBSR I Qualified with a Licentiate in Acupuncture and Traditional Chinese Medicine from the College of Integrative Acupuncture in 2005 and then went onto finish a postgraduate course at Zhejiang Medical University in Hangzhou, China, where I completed an advanced clinical certificate in Chinese medicine. I was also lucky enough to gain clinical experience in diagnosis and treatment during my placements at both the Red Cross Hospital and the Acupuncture and Tuina Hospital, Hangzhou, under the personal guidance of Dr Lin Xianming. For the last 6 years I have been running a clinic in Athlone and am currently completing a B.Sc Hons Degree level course in Chinese Herbal Medicine and Advanced Acupuncture at the College of Oriental Medicine. I have completed levels 1, 2 and 3 training in Ear Acupuncture - which is particularly effective for detoxification and addictions - and I have worked together with the Drugs Task Force in Ireland in training staff in their centres in this technique. I am a professional member of The Acupuncture Council of Ireland TCMCI and I fully adhere to their code of ethics which ensures safe conduct and complete client confidentiality.  Conditions that respond well to acupuncture include:
