Biography:
Carried out hospital posts in Oral and Maxillo-facial surgery in Norwich, Reading and Glasgow. Was awarded the Fellowship in Dental Surgery (FDS RCPS) in 1986.
In 1987 commenced Specialist orthodontic training at the Royal London Hospital. Attained Diploma in Orthodontics, University of London in 1989 and Membership in Orthodontics, University of London in 1990. Awarded Master of Science in Orthodontics with Distinction in 1990.
Appointed Consultant in Orthodontics at the North Hampshire Hospital, Basingstoke in 1995 and then returned to Bournemouth in 2000 as Consultant Orthodontist, the Royal Bournemouth Hospital.
Worked part-time at the Orthodontic Clinic in Westbourne since 1994.
Examiner for the Membership in Orthodontics of the Royal Colleges, London and Glasgow.
Special interests are Growth problems of the facial complex, dento-facial orthopaedics and orthognathic (jaw) surgery.
