Thomas Carroll Optician Main Street

Carroll Opticians is an independent Optician’s in the centre of Dundrum Village run by husband and wife team, Steven Orr and Helen Carroll. Carroll's was established in 1965 by Tom Carroll, at Eden Quay. A native of Dundrum, Tom opened a second practice in 1972 in the old Dundrum Shopping Centre. In 2007 we moved just across the road into a large, beautifully converted, protected building. 

As an independent, we have a range of spectacle frames second to none. We have state of the art eye testing equipment, including retinal cameras and optical coherence tomography (OCT). With a special interest in paediatric eyewear, an entire floor of the building has been dedicated to children's eyecare. We also fit contact lenses for children when suitable.. 

With our on site laboratory and trained technician, we have always offered a fast efficient service and emergency repair facility.
