The surgical procedures are typically undertaken with local anaesthesia and sedation provided by one of our consultant anaesthetists. Mr Shakib heads an experienced team who specialise in painless, minimal access surgery with enhanced recovery. The most commonly performed procedures at the clinic include: 1. Removal of impacted wisdom teeth 2. Dental implant surgery including bone grafting and jaw reconstruction 3. Skin cancer surgery 4. Biopsy of skin and oral conditions For more complex procedures requiring general anaesthesia or overnight stay, Mr Shakib has admitting rights at the Wellington Hospital and Hospital of St John and Elizabeth.
