Full body massages are also given in the days to weeks following injury to help relax the relieve the body of stress brought on by injury and address any compensation patterns that may develop. 

Normally at the first session with a client, this includes a questionnaire geared towards understanding a clients medical and soft tissue history, lifestyle and work habits, postural and biomechanical analysis, including range of motion tests and palpation (which is an initial assessment by touch of clients soft tissue behaviour). All the information gathered from the questionnaire and tests will go towards understanding a clients problem, what may be causing it and how best to address it. From this, a treatment plan is drawn. While this plan aims to be as thorough as possible, it is not set in stone and changes may be made as the treatment progresses to address subsequent findings and accommodate clients lifestyle activity and response to treatment. This process is the reason why a clients first session will normally last an hour and a half including an initial treatment. It could be more if the client has a long injury history.

My Swedish / Deep Tissue Massage is a bespoke treatment to release knots and tension and improve your overall feeling of well being, therefore contributing to your success and enthusiasm for life and work. You can avoid or relieve pain in the lumbar spine, shoulders and legs by placing yourself in my professional hands and trying my specially crafted combination of Swedish Massage with Deep Tissue Massage. Your sessions will be adapted each time to your needs leaving you feeling relaxed yet energised. £45 for 60 minutes of Swedish Massage combined with Deep Tissue Massage  £65 for 90 minutes of Swedish Massage combined with Deep Tissue Massage  £85 for 120 minutes of Swedish Massage combined with Deep Tissue Massage  I can also provide a back, neck and shoulder massage for half an hour (£30) if you would like a shorter treatment to focus on these areas to relieve pain, stress and tension and melt away those knots! Also available is Aromatherapy Massage - £50.00 (60 min) / £70 (90 min) / £90 (2 hrs) - which combines all the benefits of a full body massage with the therapeutic effects of essential oils which are absorbed through the skin to work on a physical level whilst having a beneficial effect on our emotions via their inhalation. 

Deep Tissue Massage    £45.00 (60 min) / £65 (90 min) / £85 (2 hrs) Deep Tissue Massage is designed to work on deeper muscles and connective tissue and works on chronic pain, muscle tension and spasm, including after physical exercise, and repetitive strain injuries such as carpal tunnel syndrome.   Massage therapists may use fingertips, knuckles, hands, elbows, and forearms during the deep tissue massage.  You may be asked to breathe deeply as the massage therapist works on certain tense areas.
