About Linda Harrington TCM Acupuncture Treatments

Linda Harrington the Acupuncturist has a degree in chinese medicine acupuncture, but has also worked within the NHS for over 20 years, on the wards theatres and labour suite, recently completing a reiki course to complement treatments. She is an Operating Department Practitioner and Epiduralist. The fully functional clinic is based on the ground floor at the practitioners home. All equipment is clean sterile and single use only needles are used, so rest assured that cleanliness is a priority.

Excellent service, Linda was friendly and welcoming and provided a very positive healing experience. I was barely able to walk in but I left feeling much better and like I was able to fight my illness at last. Thank you! Her service was excellent value for money, the environment clean and welcoming. The acupuncture painless yet effective as was the cupping and I felt she was both caring and thorough in her assessment.

The acupuncturest offers a full consultation and may recomend, acupuncture, moxibustion, tuina/ Guasha treatment massage or cupping, each treatment will be fully explained prior to treatment. Consultations last between 45 minutes to 1 hour

auricular accupuncture are points used in the ear. helpfull with stress during exams and migranes.

electrodes and low electric current are cliped onto needles to give a stronger treatment to normal acupuncture. Normally used in back pain treatment when normal acupuncture doesnt work effectively.

Cosmetic Acupuncture (45 mins)

Tiny needles are placed on problem wrincle areas, larger needles are placed on acupuncture points, ocasionaly using electro accupuncture to stimulate muscles, this may help with skin tone and colour. Imediate improvement is often seen but you must be aware you could get some bruising or swelling that could last a few days.

Reiki therapy (45 mins)

The practitioner uses her hand above the clients body, the energy field surounding the client changes slightly due to tiny inpulses. Occasionaly the practitioner may touch the head, hands and feet. The energy field change helps the client feel more realxed .
