This type of medicine is new to me ( apart from acupuncture) and I was looking for a new way to approach very long standing gastric issues. I chose this clinic as it was the closest that offered the treatments that I wanted to try for my particular problems. First impressions were excellent and it was immediately apparent that Ken is extremely professional and knowledgeable in both Chinese and Western medicines and very dedicated to his work. After my (free) initial 30 minute consultation, I had an hour of massage, acupuncture and cupping treatments which were explained to me in detail. I was also advised on dietary changes which would be beneficial for me. I will most definitely be returning for further treatments and doing my best to follow Ken's advice on diet/lifestyle. Very impressed and excellent value.

I had an infrared sauna treatment for the first time prior to my colonic treatment This was the most relaxed I have ever felt in a long time as in the past I used to regularly use the steam and sauna at my local leisure centre. I would definitely recommend this treatment.

I recently had vaser liposuction and was advised to have as many manual lymphatic drainage massages as possible to help with recovery and results. I went for a consultation and explained in detail the problems I was having / experiencing. I was given clear information about what was likely to be the problem. I was given a running commentary (excellent and very helpful) about what was going on and its effect on me, as well as what was going to be achieved in addition to the effects on me. I was told, that I really need the treatment. I have improved quite a bit, but I am aware that a follow up treatment will be useful. I have no problem in recommending them. Excellent work and service all around.

Normally at the first session with a client, this includes a questionnaire geared towards understanding a clients medical and soft tissue history, lifestyle and work habits, postural and biomechanical analysis, including range of motion tests and palpation (which is an initial assessment by touch of clients soft tissue behaviour). All the information gathered from the questionnaire and tests will go towards understanding a clients problem, what may be causing it and how best to address it. From this, a treatment plan is drawn. While this plan aims to be as thorough as possible, it is not set in stone and changes may be made as the treatment progresses to address subsequent findings and accommodate clients lifestyle activity and response to treatment. This process is the reason why a clients first session will normally last an hour and a half including an initial treatment. It could be more if the client has a long injury history.
