Rating from 14 Reviews Invaluable guidanceWilliam, Ireland, 28 Jun 15

I had a sking accident in February and required ACL reconstruction surgery. Post surgery I developed a compressed disc from poor posture as I was not walking correctly and also received trearment for this condition. Treatment is ongoing and recovery is progressing very well thanks to the excellent treatment and supervision of my condition by Phyllis. I attended here and was given excellent treatment as well a clear advice on what I needed to do pre and post op. This guidance was invaluable and had me in great shape for the surgery. Now I am in post-op phase and getting superb treatment. The knowledge and experience Phyllis has is invaluable to a patient recovering in an unknown phase of treatment and she is very strong on setting realistic progress targets and keeping the patient focused on achieving them. I cannot speak highly enough of the treatment I received, the knowledge and expertise of the team and the supportive environment which really aids recovery and encourages me to improve.

Started treatment immediatelyMichelle, Ireland, 30 Nov 15

I was suffering with severe pain in my foot. It was getting progressively worse and I didn't know what it was. Castletroy Physiotherapy Clinic diagnosed it and started treatment immediately. I'm very happy with the treatment I am recieving. I used WhatClinic online and put in the details of the treatment I was looking for. Castletroy Physiotherapy Clinic responded first this the next day and had an appointment free. Very happy with their professionalism. Staff are lovely.

Rating from 5 Reviews I will definitely be going againCiara, Ireland, 09 Feb 16

Good - full body massage for an amazing price. 60 minutes. Excellent. Deep tissue massage but I was asked several times if I was happy with the pressure. It seemed as though they were using coconut oil so it didn't feel as luxurious as other places but it was acceptable considering the price. It's a no-frills set up - it appears to be just one room and a very small reception area - but the therapist was talented and I will definitely be going again. It was clean and welcoming. Low price parking outside.

Lymph drainage massage is a very light, slow, rhythmical massage. The intension is to stimulate the lymph vessels that runjust below the skin and in many cases attach to the skin. Lymph drainagemassage drains excess fluids from the tissues returning them to the circulatorysystem. This means lymph drainage massage can help in many cases of fluidretention, from pregnancy, to injury. The lymph system is also a vital part ofyour immune system, meaning lymph drainage massage can stimulate your immunesystem during and after times of illness. It’s important in immunity, inflammation and healingin general, so an efficient lymphatic system is going to help in manyareas.  Lymphatic drainage is a way toachieve that efficiency. Skin care: For a clearer complexion and to lessenthe appearance of fine lines and wrinkles in facial tissue, as well as reducingpuffiness around the eyes. Old scar tissue can be reduced while the appearanceof new scars can be minimized. It’s commonly used before and after cosmeticsurgery. Detox: At the end of winter, or after a period ofhigh stress, the body will really benefit from lymphatic drainage, to reducethe sluggishness brought on by too many starchy, high fat foods and too littleexercise. Headache: Most headaches including sinusitis have acomponent of congestion that responds well to  lymphatic drainage.   Once tissueis decongested, blocked fluid and blood flow improve, reducing pain anddiscomfort. Promote healing: After surgery or injury, the tissuemay be swollen and sore. Lymphatic drainage is a gentle treatment that willhelp drain the tissue, reduce inflammation and improve healing. Pregnancy and after: There is often fluid retentionin pregnant women and lymphatic drainage can improve comfort especially in legsand feet.  Breast feeding will beenhanced by this treatment, especially when there are problems with blockedducts and sore tight breasts. Reduce swelling:

Manual Lymph Drainage aims to redirect fluid from swollen areas to healthy lymphatic vessels, transporting it back to the normal circulatory system . With gentle, light but precise hand movements applied to the skin, the therapists exerts different intensities of pressure to increase the activity of normal lymphatic vessels. This encourages the fluid away from congested areas by bypassing ineffective or injured lymph vessels. The treatment is very gentle and a typical session will involve drainage of the neck, trunk, and the affected extremity (in that order), lasting approximately 40 to 60 minutes. The technique was pioneered by Doctor Emil Vodder in the 1930s

Rating from 9 Reviews 10 out of 10!Brendan, Ireland, 25 Oct 13

6 treatments I have been suffering with lower back pain for over 20 years after a horse riding accident. Over the years I have tried many different massage therapists with only marginal relief. This past year has been hell for me with the main lower back pain causing me to take strong pain killers on a regular basis. The secondary back pain resulting from this has spread right up my back to my shoulders, neck and head. I have had six regular deep tissue massages over the last six weeks and I feel like a new man. Pam is a very confident, capable and experienced professional. She has a warm, friendly manner and knew exactly how to deal with my problem. After two sessions I was already starting to improve greatly and now I feel so much ease and flexibility in my back neck and shoulders. I highly recommend Pam to anyone with back or muscular pain. 10 out of 10 from me!

Explained clearlyBarry, Clane, 23 Nov 13

I found the therapist very friendly. She listened to my complaint and explained clearly what the course of treatment would be and it worked.

40 Minute treatment on a local area, 75 minutes for full body...  Lymph drainage is a light, slow, rhythmic massage, which follows the path of the lymphatic system of the body. It helps to eliminate toxins and is especially effective after a flu or virus when our immune system has been in overdrive.  If you suffer from sluggishness or puffiness esp in the ankles, Odema.   Sorry but we do NOT offer a Medical Drainage for patients with Lymphedema.

Rating from 6 Reviews Calm and relaxing atmosphere and very reasonably pricedJulie, Ireland, 20 Sep 16

My first treatment was a deep tissue massage but I definitely received so much more than that! Rose gave me great advice about my ongoing issues. Rise has a great attention to detail and helps you completely relax and unwind. Rose has a beautiful clinic...calm and relaxing atmosphere and very reasonably priced.

My shoulder is well on the way to normal function and I would absolutely recommend Rose TherapyMike, Ireland, 23 Sep 16

Deep tissue treatment for shoulder injury (supraspinatus tear) which involved acupuncture and manipulation of the shoulder back an neck combined with intense massage to get protective muscles relaxed and working correctly. The results were fantastic and even after the first visit I felt that more progress had been made than in several physio and osteo sessions in the UK. My shoulder is well on the way to normal function and I would absolutely recommend Rose Therapy Clinic.
