About Palm Physical Therapy

Apologies for any inconvenience but due to the unprecedented amount of new patients, the waiting list is currently 1 week for all new appointments. 

Pamela Ward, specialist in the evaluation and treatment of chronic pain due to poor posture, trauma or genetic conditions or disorders. Your neuro - muscular system helps to control functional movement of our body, you may not necessarily be in pain, but may have changes in sensation such as dizziness, burning, nausea, shooting pain, pins & needles, numbness and many other symptoms. Neuro - Muscular rehabilitation is a manual non-pharmacological treatment and can be combined with Frequency Specific Microcurrent (an evidence based therapy using a current which is the same kind of current your body  produces on its own within each cell) tapping into the frequencies of each cell can effectively create beneficial changes in symptoms enhancing overall health and healing of the tissues.

Please understand that if you cannot reach me the 1st time if you can please leave a message.  When my clinic is in session I will give 100% time and commitment to each patient.  I endeavour to call back each and every person within a few hours.  Thank you.  

Treatments are 45 - 60 minutes in duration. 

Prices range from €35 - €50 euro for every treatment.  Except pre natal massage which is €60 euro.  If you are unsure of any price please read any of this information at the top of the page under the clinic name.

I have been suffering with lower back pain for over 20 years after a horse riding accident. Over the years I have tried many different massage therapists with only marginal relief. This past year has been hell for me with the main lower back pain causing me to take strong pain killers on a regular basis. The secondary back pain resulting from this has spread right up my back to my shoulders, neck and head. I have had six regular deep tissue massages over the last six weeks and I feel like a new man. Pam is a very confident, capable and experienced professional. She has a warm, friendly manner and knew exactly how to deal with my problem. After two sessions I was already starting to improve greatly and now I feel so much ease and flexibility in my back neck and shoulders. I highly recommend Pam to anyone with back or muscular pain. 10 out of 10 from me!

Where do I start, Pamela has helped sort out a severely painful coccyx..a winged scapula.lower back pain .. massages to help me after my training & on the run ups to my body building competitions.. Deep Tissue Massage and NMT

I have been attending Palm Physical Therapy for the past two years, where Pam has treated my lower back injury. An injury I sustained after bending down, incorrectly, to pick up my toddler niece, over 17 years ago. After many years of chiropractic care, with only short-term relief, I found Pam's care and treatment to last far longer. I found the treatment to my muscles far outweighed the work done through other alternative procedures.

Pam's knowledge of the body, both inside and out, and her 'healing' hands have changed my life. The flexibility of movement that I have gained over the past two years is wonderful. Long may she practice.

40 Minute treatment on a local area, 75 minutes for full body...  Lymph drainage is a light, slow, rhythmic massage, which follows the path of the lymphatic system of the body. Biography:

Pamela Cranks is originally from Dublin but moved to Sallins in 2004 where she lives now with her 4 year old son and her beloved dogs.  Formerly a Customer Service Manager in the Motor Industry, Pamela decided in 2009 on a change of career and to move into the field of pain management and injury rehabilitation. Following a skiing injury, she decided to study Anatomy and Physical Therapy as a method in best understanding the mechanism of the human body so she could aim to solve or manage her own pain.        

She successfully qualified in 20011, and now holds qualifications in the following:

2009 -  Dip Athletic Massage and Sports Physical Therapy. 

2009 -  Dip Personal Training, Health Management and Strength and Conditioning. 

2011 - Qualification in Neuromuscular Physical Therapy (NMT).

2011 – Qualification in Pre and Post Natal Massage. 

2012 – Qualification in Frequency Specific Microcurrent. 

2012 – Qualification in Lymphatic Drainage and Cancer Care Massage.

Great care is taking during the 1st consultation, to gather as much information from the patient as possible, listening, muscle testing prior to treatment.  Pamela may combine Frequency Specific Microcurrent with manual therapy to correct pathological disturbances and restore a sense of wellness. Great results can be achieved in only a few sessions with Frequency Specific Microcurrent, that may take weeks if not months with manual therapy.
