The founder, Group Chairman and Medical Director of Eagle Eye Centre. He graduated from the National University of Singapore (NUS) in 1992 with MBBS degree. Obtained post graduate qualifications, MMED (Ophth), FRCS (Edinburgh) and FRCOhpth (London). As a cornea specialist, Dr Theng is renowned as a high volume surgeon in the areas of LASIK & refractive surgery, cornea transplants, as well as cataract surgery, performing few thousands of such surgeries each year alone. He and EEC were awarded surgeon and centre of excellence in femtosecond LASIK surgery in 2012 by Ziemer, a German company specializing in femtosecond LASER.

He graduated from medical studies in the National University of Singapore (NUS) with an MBBS in 1992 and started his postgraduate training in Ophthalmology in 1995, graduating with a Master’s degree from NUS (MMED) and two specialist postgraduate qualifications in Ophthalmology from UK (FRCS Edinburgh and FRCOphth London) in 1998. He completed one year uveitis and ocular inflammation Fellowship at National Eye Institute, National Institutes of Health, Bethesda USA in 2003.

Graduated with an MBBS degree from the National University of Singapore in 1995. He went on to specialise in the field of Ophthalmology and obtained the MMED (Ophth) in 2003 and postgraduate qualifications from Royal College of Surgeons of Edinburgh (FRCSEd).
