Mr Adam Ascroft B.D.S

Biography:
Originally from LIverpool Adam qualified from Sheffield University in 1998 where he was awarded the prize for conservative dentistry and periodontology. He worked for six years in private practice in Cornwall before returning to Liverpool in 2004. He is very involved in postgraduate education and during 2009 obtained full membership of the British Academy of Cosmetic Dentistry. Adam has developed a special interest in restorative and cosmetic dentistry. During 2009 he completed every level of the core curriculum in functional cosemtic dentistry through the Dawson Centre For Dental Advancement, Florida. . Adam is currently developing the provision of dental implants at the practice and is working towards a postgraduate certificate in implant dentistry at the University of Salford, Manchester. He completes this training under Professor Cermal Ucer in November 2010.   

Mr Geoffrey Peers

Job Title:
 Dentist
Biography:
qualified from Liverpool University in 1990 with distinctions in Children’s dentistry and advanced restorative dentistry. He completed a period of further training in hospital and community dentistry before joining the practice in 1993. He also holds a part-time appointment at Liverpool University Dental School where he lectures in restorative dentistry. Through his links with the University he undertakes occasional clinical trials which help to shape the future delivery of dental care nationally. He has a special interest in endodontics (root canal treatment) and all aspects of restorative and cosmetic dentistry.

Mrs Lucy Backstrom B.D.S, F.D.S.R.C.S, MSc

Job Title:
 Dentist
Biography:
qualified from Guys hospital, London in 1990 with distinctions in Pathology and Dental Surgery. She became a dental fellow of the Royal College of Surgeons of England in 1995 and completed a Masters Degree in advanced restorative dentistry at Manchester University in 1999. She is a specialist in Surgical Dentistry and has a keen interest in cosmetic and restorative dentistry.
