Dr Ashik Patel is originally from Bolton, Lancashire. Graduated from Guys Hospital, London in 1989.

Ashik and his wife Dr Neela Patel set up The Bush Dental Clinic in 1992. and in 2003 relocated the Clinic to where it is now in a purpose built state of the art dental practice. The building project and design was project managed personally. Ashik is a member of the ITI (International Team for Implantology), the BACD (British Academy of Cosmetic Dentistry) and the BDA (British Dental Association). He is an active member of the LDC (Local Dental Committee) since 1992. Although not at present Ashik has been a VT (Vocational Trainee) trainer. Ashik has pursued his passion for quality and excellence, specialising in Cosmetic dentistry, prosthetics, restorative aspects of Implantology and full mouth reconstruction.

Last year Ashik, accompanied with Neela, involved themselves in voluntary charity work. They trained a nurse to carry out tooth extractions for several remote villages on the Kenyan/Tanzanian border.

Neela qualified at Guys Dental Hospital, London in 1989 and is a member of the Royal College of Surgeons, London.

Neela specialises in cosmetic dentistry including smile design and cosmetic orthodontics using the Inman Aligner. Having a caring nature, she enjoys all aspects of general dentistry but has a passion for endodontics, whitening and childrens dentistry.

Neela enjoys keeping up to date with modern techniques and materials by attending select courses and conferences.

Together with her husband, Ashik, they have set up a busy Orthodontic practice in Hitchin.

Pradip is from Cambridge and a Graduate of Manchester University in June of 2000. He moved to London soon after graduation and completed his stint of vocational training in North London, shortly after joining The Bush Dental Clinic in 2001.

He has undertaken extensive post-graduate study and has a special interest in Postgraduate and Cosmetic/Aesthetic dentistry. The interests include Implants, attachments, removable orthodontics (Clear Step/Inman Aligners/Invisalign) and multi-disciplinary complex restorative cases.

London born Shashi has remained close to his roots and qualified at the Royal London Hospital in 1991. Shortly after he worked in several hospitals across London and Birmingham, where he has acquired a great amount of experience in oral surgery. For the past 15 years Shashi has been a qualified sedationist, working with difficult cases of dental phobia.

He is currently being mentored by a maxillofacial surgeon in the field of dental implants and facial aesthetics.

Shashi is at present a vocational trainer in the Oxford Deanery and is a principal Surgeon at a Sedation Clinic in Slough.

Rajan is a calm, confident and caring dentist that qualified from the University of Manchester in 2002. He went on to complete his Vocational Training in Oxford the following year and has continued to work in general practice, providing care for patients in Oxford, Basingstoke and London.

Rajan enjoys all aspects of restorative dentistry and has a special interest in endodontic and cosmetic procedures. He has a reassuring manner and is especially gentle during treatment, which means that anxious and nervous patients are pleasantly surprised that a trip to the dentist can be a comfortable, pain-free experience.

Rajan ensures that he is up-to-date with all the latest techniques and materials available in modern dentistry by regularly attending lectures, seminars and hands-on courses. In 2008 he completed a postgraduate certificate in Restorative Dental Practice at the prestigious Eastman Dental Institute of UCL in London. This has helped him to achieve and maintain the highest standards of care and treatment for his patients. Dr Fadi Barrak is registered as a specialist in Oral Surgery and is a Fellow of Dental Surgery at the Royal College of Surgeons, England. He graduated from Bristol University in Dentistry followed by Medicine from Imperial College. He also has a Diploma in Implant Dentistry from the Royal College of Surgeons, Edinburgh. His main interests are in implant dentistry and oral surgery. Dr Barrak has combined experience in oral and maxillofacial surgery in both hospital and primary care settings since 1994. He is also a mentor for the Association of Dental Implantology and the International Team for Implantology.

Bhavin qualified at the University of the Witwatersand in Johannesburg, South Africa in 2OOOwith awards in General Medicine, General Surgery and Operative Dentistry. He has always been passionate about dentistry and especially Periodontology and its related disciplines.

ln 2OO7, Bhavin embarked on formal postgraduate studies, which culminated in an MSc in Clinical Periodontology in 2OlO. He has attended extensive post graduate courses nationally, in Europe, the USA and South Africa and enjoys keeping abreast of contemporary concepts and techniques.

Laura Mccarthy is a Dental Therapist/Hygienist who joined the Bush Dental Clinic in 2011, she qualified as a Dental Therapist from the Eastman Dental Hospital in London in 2010.

She carries out a full range of dental hygiene treatments and provides excellent advice on how to maintain good oral hygiene and the prevention of gum disease with gentle friendly and supportive care.

Laura is also a member of the British Association of Dental Therapists.

Originally from Scotland, Leah qualified as a Dental Hygienist at King’s College Hospital London in 2011. After working in a variety of dental practices in and around London, Leah now works part-time at The Bush Dental Clinic.

Prior to undertaking the Dental Hygiene and Therapy Diploma, Leah trained and worked as a Dental Nurse in London where she has lived for 8 years.

Ami was born in Frankfurt Germany, relocated to Devon England, where she qualified as a Dental Nurse in 2006.Ami since has pushed her dental career to become qualified in Dental Radiology, Endodontic Nursing and Four Handed Dentistry, to name just a few.

Ami has worked in various practices covering Devon, Somerset, Essex and now based here at The Bush Dental Clinic in London. Through the years at various practices Ami has gained extensive knowledge of National Health Service and Specialist treatments.
