Gary has been placing and restoring dental implants for over fifteen years. His postgraduate studies and qualifications have been largely in the field of advanced restorative and implant dentistry. As a Tutor on the Diploma Implant program at the Royal College of Surgeons, he is involved in both academic and surgical tuition of trainee implantologists. The role of educator and mentor he finds both rewarding and essential in ensuring the safe and effective treatment of patients in this demanding area of dentistry.

Extensive training in bone and sinus grafting, along with soft tissue surgery, allows him to restore almost any case, whilst achieving both predictable outcomes with good aesthetics. Garys extensive qualifications are:

Having trained as an oral and maxillofacial surgeon, Stephen first placed implants into the facial bones and skull in order to support facial prostheses. From there he used dental implants to reconstruct jaws and teeth for patients following trauma and surgery for cancer ablation.

He went on to place upwards of four thousand implants, restoring the vast majority of these himself, but also working alongside restorative specialists in the rehabilitation of complex cases. His is therefore a very restorative driven approach, and this together with his surgical background, allows dental restorations with excellent functional and aesthetic outcomes.

More recently Stephen has enjoyed teaching post graduate dentists in oral surgery and implantology and brings this love of communication and mentoring to his work.

He is delighted to have now joined the team at DentalcarePlus, a company dedicated to bringing the benefits of implantology to a wider public.

Expert in surgical procedures for the most complex of dental implant cases, including sinus lift, guided bone regeneration, Sinus Lift Osteotome (Summers Technique) and socket preservation.

Juan been involved in implant dentistry since graduating as a Doctor of Dental Surgery in 2005. He was awarded an Masters in Implant Dentistry at ESI Barcelona in 2007. He then joined an internship program at Loma Linda University, California, for a year to further increase his implant dentistry knowledge and experience, and in 2011 he became a registered Implant Dentistry Specialist in the USA. From 2009 until 2010 he has been the resident-in-chief on the Implant Dentistry Program at Loma Linda University, involved in both the academic and in-surgery tuition of implant placement and restorations.

He is currently an assistant professor at the aforementioned university department. Dr. Mesquida has lectured in the USA and other countries and has a high degree of experience in computer guided implant placement, soft tissue management for improved aesthetics and full mouth rehabilitations with fixed and removable prosthesis.

He was the winner of 1st Prize award for Best Research Presentation at 2010 Annual Meeting of the American Academy of Implant Dentistry, (Boston, Massachusetts) and he was awarded the first prize in 2011 (Las Vegas, Nevada) for the second time, something that never happened before in 30 years of history of the Academy.

BDS, MSc Prosthodontics, PhD

Jan has 15 years of dentistry experience and is an accomplished implant dentist with an MSc in Prosthodontics. Jan was also awarded a PhD from the University where he was a Tutor in prosthodontics for several years. He is practiced in all implant related oral surgery techniques, and since his area of speciality is in prosthodontics, his patients can be assured that their implant restorations with be as aesthetically pleasing as is possible to achieve.
