Dr Rashid obtained his BDS from Kings College London, UK. After this he undertook further specialist training in Dental Implantology and Oral & Maxillofacial Surgery. Since then he has spent 7 years in private practice both in the UK and in Singapore. His main areas of interest are Dental Implant rehabilitations, Mini dental implants, Smile makeovers, Minimally invasive Cosmetic Dentistry, braces and Invisalign. Dr Rashid is also the first and only provider of the Inman aligner in Singapore!

Dr Nijam graduated from the National University of Singapore in 2007. He then served in various government institutions such as The National Dental Centre, Health Promotion Board, Singapore Armed Forces and Singhealth Polyclinics.

Dr Nijam has over 5 years of experience treating patients in private practice as well as in government institutions. Dr Nijam is able to treat and manage patients ranging from all ages of varying dental needs.

Dr Nijam is a firm believer of continual education. He is an alumnus of the well renowned Las Vegas Institute of Advanced Dental Studies where he trained under well renowned dentists Dr Ron Jackson and Dr Kit Weathers.

Dr Nijam has successfully treated several patients requiring multiple dental implants, wisdom tooth surgery, root canal treatments and restorative dentistry. Dr Nijam enjoys sharing his knowledge with the general public and has appeared on the television series ‘Hello Doctor’ on Vasantham .

Dr Nijam is happily married and enjoys playing the guitar in his free time.

Hello I am Joyce, the oral health therapist (also known as a Dental Hygienist). I graduated with my diploma in Dental Hygiene & Therapy in 2007 from Nanyang Polytechnic.I joined Dental Workz Studio in 2011. Prior to this I acquired invaluable experience from various governmental practices like National Dental Centre, School Dental Service, Mobile Dental Centre and the Health Promotion board.I am here to provide a one to one oral health care that is tailored to the needs of each individual patient.

I like working with anxious patients and help to put them at ease! I work closely with children and adults to achieve a happy healthy smile.

In 2008, I achieved the Service Excellence Award by the Health Promotion Board for providing excellent quality services to my patients! In the same year I also started volunteering at Bethany Nursing home, where I provide regular free hygiene sessions for the residents there. This experience has taught me to how to better manage patients with special needs.

I am able to speak English, Mandarin and Hokkien fluently and often assist in translating to non english speaking patients! 

In my spare time I like to spend time with my family and my pet rabbit! I like to watch movies and I am big foodie and love trying new restaurants!

I am a qualified Dental Nurse having 14 years of experience in Dentistry.I am pretty well rounded in the clinic, you can either see me working alongside Dr Rashid or else you can catch my smile at the frontdesk! I absolutely love my job and what I really like about the practice is that it is constantly moving forward with technology & new techniques and I am still learning new things everyday!

 I have been in this field for more than 10 years and I am experienced in all aspects of dentistry. I have been working with various private dental clinics in Singapore over the years I enjoy giving patients advice and making them feel comfortable, but the best part of my job is seeing them smiling & happy at the end of the treatment. I am able to speak mandarin so i usually help in translating to our overseas patients. Hi I am Vinitha.I am a trainee dental nurse at Dental Workz Studio. I started working at the practice in 2012 but already feel like a valued member of the team. I am holding a Bachelor’s degree in Nursing from India and have almost 3 years of experience in various aspects of Nursing. Even though dentistry is a switch to my career I love it as it is always improving, in techniques and materials and in our understanding.

Moreover the team is a fantastic bunch and no two days are the same.My main priority is patient care, from the moment you walk into the practice to the moment you leave I will help to make you feel at ease and comfortable. I really enjoy seeing patients return with not only improvements in their oral health but also their confidence. It always surprises me how a new smile can transform someone’s personality, and I think this is the most rewarding part of the job for me!
