Job Title: Physiotherapist Biography: Qualified as a Physiotherapist in Leeds in 1982 .He worked at St James University Hospital Leeds, whereby he concentrated his skills in the area of Musculo-Skeletal Medicine. During this time he became First Team Physiotherapist for Carlisle and Leeds Rugby League clubs. His passion for Sport and the development of medicine within it, led him to the Yorkshire County Cricket Club where in 1986 he became Head Physiotherapist. He became a well-established figure in the Cricket world and was given England A tours from 1991-95. He was soon acknowledged as one of the sports Leading Clinicians and in 1995 was appointed Chief Physiotherapist to The England Cricket team, touring Worldwide and Overseeing 50 test matches and two World Cups. In 2000 he took on the role of Medical Director of Castleford Rugby League club, which he oversaw up until 2011. He remains Director of Medical Services at Yorkshire County Cricket Club whom he has served for 26 years.
Ms Kate Palmer Biography: Chiropractor.I have always been fascinated by the workings of the human body, which led me to study for a degree in Neuroscience at Cambridge University, gaining a Double First MA (Hons), before going to the University of Surrey, where I gained distinction in my MSc Chiropractic degree. I have been practicing for 9 years, the first two of which were in a long established clinic in Godalming, Surrey, before I set up Wetherby Chiropractic seven years ago. I am a member of the British Chiropractic Association, and am registered with the General Chiropractic Council. What drives me professionally is improving people’s quality of life by aiming to reduce their pain levels and improve their functionality without the use of drugs or surgical intervention. Ms Alison Eaves Biography: Chiropractor Wetherby – Alison Eaves Alison first completed a degree in Physiology, but having graduated, decided that there must be a more exciting vocation out there, so trained to be a chiropractor. She loves her job – meeting all sorts of different people, and helping them to feel better. She enjoys an active life and when she’s not busy treating patients, can be found sailing, playing lacrosse, or out running on the streets of Leeds. Madness caused her to run the 2010 London Marathon. All this means that she understands the frustration of sporting aches and pains and understands that time injured is time lost.
