Holistic Health Consultation
Holistic dentist is who understands that the mouth is connected to the rest of the body, not only with an understanding and concern for the physiology of the mouth but also how it relates to the rest of the body and their patients total health and well-being Biological dentists should be deeply concerned about the intimate connection between dental health and nutrition. Biological Dentistry is more health focused; it is focused on the level of health people want and the choices they make that will move them toward that level of health Biological Dentistry can be categorized as conscious dentistry, concerned with treatment and therapies that cause the least disturbance to the immune system seeking the least toxic reparative and restorative materials for each patient’s dental work, Biological Dentists use materials reactivity tested.
Dental Crowns
Dental crowns are restorations that protect damaged, cracked or broken down teeth. A crown strengthens your existing, damaged tooth so as to preserve its functionality. Dental crowns are also commonly known as caps (because a crown sits over your existing tooth, covering the entire outer surface).
Veneers
Veneer is a thin layer of restorative material placed over a tooth surface, either to improve the aesthetics of a tooth, or to protect a damaged tooth surface. There are two main types of material used to fabricate a veneer, composite and dental porcelain A dentist may use one veneer to restore a single tooth that may have been fractured or discolored, or multiple teeth to create a "Hollywood" type of makeover. Many people have small teeth resulting in spaces that may not be easily closed by orthodontics. Some people have worn away the edges of their teeth resulting in a prematurely aged appearance, while others may have malpositioned teeth that appear crooked. Multiple veneers can close these spaces, lengthen teeth that have been shortened by wear, fill the black triangles between teeth caused by gum recession, provide a uniform color, shape, and symmetry, and make the teeth appear straight.
