I had two sessions an hour and half long. The person I dealt with is an old friend. I had acupuncture on my skull using needles I found that Jason was very professional in his approach talking to me about why I needed his help to deal with my addiction to Marijuana and tobacco. I had some success in quitting alcohol by myself but for Marijuana and tobacco, I was going to need help.
The fact I know Jason made it easier and we talked of our love for the time we shared together in scouts. I say I'm a tough case having 25 years as a patient in the psychiatric services and addictions for 30 years. Jason was able to connect with me from our scouting days and gently encouraged me that I should get out in the outside world, hiking and camping and seeing how I use to see as a scout. I have only two sessions done and I am following through on quitting Marijuana and tobacco. Jason is very inspirational and very talented in what he does and that will guide me on my journey of recovery from addiction. I might be a bit scared and fearful about getting out in the wilderness but I'm already getting an insight from myself when I use to love heading out when I was a scout. I have done my first week without using Marijuana and tobacco and I am finding it easier than previous attempts I made since 2020 where I would only last a few weeks.
Jason's work regarding finding myself getting out there hiking and camping will make me leave behind my addictions whereas before with previous attempts, I'd fail since I would be surrounded by four walls.
