Marianne McCabe BSc.(Hons), Lic. Ac. TCM, Clin. Ac (Beijing, China)

Marianne McCabe graduated from the University of Gloucestershire in 2000 with an honors degree in Sport Science and Psychology. It was there that the interest in health and well-being grew, particularly from a holistic perspective. She went on to study at the Lansdowne College of Acupuncture under Dr. Vincent Carroll where she was awarded her diploma in Acupuncture and Traditional Chinese Medicine.

In 2007 Marianne completed advanced studies at the University of TCM in Beijing, China where she studied under many well respected doctors, including Dr Wang, specialist in pulse diagnoses. She worked in a number of integrated and TCM hospitals. Marianne has also received specialist training in facial rejuvenation acupuncture under the guidance of Hung Tsui Ying. She holds an advanced Facial Rejuvenation certificate. Also qualified in the treatment of Reflexology Marianne likes to offer an alternative to the acupuncture treatments.

Most recently Marianne has furthered her studies in the area of Pregnancy and Sub-fertility. She attended the Further Studies in Obstetric Acupuncture seminar in Brighton given by the world renowned Midwife and Acupuncturist Debra Betts (www.acupuncture.rhizome.net.nz). This coupled with the attendance of the Pregnancy/Reflexology and Infertility workshop given by Dr. Jennifer Donnelly MB and Carol Donnelly (leading Reflexologist in the area of Womens Health) in Dublin December 2009 has propelled her knowledge, understanding and interest in this area.
