Consultation
Review I brought my daughter aged 1 at the time with very dry skin all over, had been back and forth to doc with no improvement for months. After an allergy test with Dr Lalloo and remedies supplied she was like a different baby within days. I will have to go back soon as she is 11 now and seems to be getting symptoms back.kim, Ireland, 06 Nov 11

easeforlife

The Healing House 24 O`Connell Avenue, Berkely Road, Dublin
Consultation
I was always interested in reflexology  and its benefits for the body, mind and spirit, so I trained with the Beaumount institute in Dublin in 1998. Afterwards I started to treat family, friends and clients on a part-time basis and was astonished and fascinated by the excellent results.  In 2007 I discovered the Dorn Method and Breuss massage and subsequently trained in that area with Rückgrad e.v. (Institute) in Germany. Recently I have  completed  the advanced Dorn Method Therapy course in the UK Dorn Method Centre with Thomas Zudrell. As a result of the strong benefits that I personally gained from the Dorn Method, I decided to offer it as part of my professional practice. I am impressed by the fast and effective way in which the Dorn Method helps to relieve ailments and by the self-help exercises that empower the clients.   Our bodies are great self healers and it is just wonderful to have techniques that encourage our own healing forces so effectively.

Glasnevin Physical Therapy

113 Botanic Road, Glasnevin, Dublin
Consultation
Review I do a martial art and my knees had been getting gradually worse over the years, until I couldn't go up or downstairs without great difficulty, and found it really difficult to continue in my martial art. I went to BodyWorks and Lisa Coffey gave me a complete physical check-up, testing for muscle injuries, misalignments and imbalances etc., then diagnosed overly tight hip flexors and quads, as well as tight hamstrings, and arches which were falling slightly. She gave me a very good massage to loosen the tight muscles, then taught me exercises to restore my arches and to loosen the tight muscles in my legs. Before I left she made sure I could do the exercises correctly. All of this took a little over an hour and cost me less than a 5-minute visit to my GP. I returned a few weeks later for a check-up, and she confirmed what I had noticed myself: my arches were fine and my leg muscles were loosening up nicely, although I still needed to continue with the exercises. I have recommended BodyWorks to friends and family members, and everyone who has gone there has expressed great satisfaction. Lisa is friendly but at the same time very professional. What distinguishes them from most forms of conventional medicine is that they enhance the immune system rather than suppress it, as is the case with most drugs and antibiotics. Holistic healing comes from within. It comes from the natural life force of each individual. The immune system is that inborn life force in its protective state. Insofar as natural therapies are able to replace conventional treatments they can also be called Alternative Therapies and Insofar as they may be used together with or subsequent to conventiona
