Dr Andre Nel practiced emergency medicine early in his career and went on to further train and ultimately specialise in Hair
Restoration Surgery.
Dr Nel is a Diplomate of the American Board of Hair Restoration
Surgery (ABHRS), and a member of The International Society Of
Hair Restoration Surgery (ISHRS) and The European Society Of Hair
Restoration Surgery (ESHRS).

Dr Nel also further advanced his training by observing procedures at

He considers Dr Bijan Feriduni to be his mentor and says "I am proud
to be one of the few trained by Dr Feriduni, in my opinion an absolute
master in hair restoration. I believe that good hair restoration is a
combination of surgical technique and artistic flair and good results
enhance lives. My training and my attention to detail enable me to
regularly produce the best results for my patients.".
Dr Nel specialises in FUE and Combination FUE/FUT techniques.
He continually keeps himself informed about the latest techniques
and advances by attending conferences around the world, including
ISHRS annual conferences in Boston USA, Anchorage Alaska USA,
Nassau Bahamas, San Francisco USA and most recently Kuala Lumpur
Malaysia.
He gained yet more experience at the ISHRS FUE Technology
Workshop 2012 in Denver Colorado USA.
Dr Nel has a particular interest in information technology and in 2005
qualified with a Masters degree from University of Pretoria School of
Business majoring in Information Technology Systems. He qualified in
medicine at University of Pretoria School of medicine in South Africa
and is now registered to practice medicine in the United Kingdom,
Canada, Ireland and South Africa.
