Trichology is the science of treating hair and scalp disorders. This clinic which has trichology as its specialty likes near the city centre of Galway. They offer a range of treatments and sell a range of hair care products at the clinic. These products are also available from their website. Treatment is given for stress related hair loss, hair breakage and patchy hair loss is treated with ultraviolet light therapy. Scalp treatments for scaly scalp, psoriasis and allergies are also treated at the clinic. The clinic is operated by Deborah Whelan who is a qualified trichologist.

Review I attend this Clinic every couple of years for treatment for male pattern baldness and I am very happy with the results. I was told I would not lose any more hair since I started to treat my scalp and I haven't. I have in fact seen regrowth which I honestly didn't believe was possible. It hasn't cost me the earth and the staff are extremely discreet, professional and friendly. The Consultant I met was very informative and knew her stuff. I am glad that my colleague at work recommended this Clinic to me. It is easy to see how they are still in business over 50 years later. I still have my hair and I am 45 years old. Review I have been attending Volumize for two years now with my daughter who has total alopecia. They arranged for custom-made pieces to be made and although they are quite expensive, the result is fantastic. I ordered two pieces and they lasted for a year. They are easy to take care of and my daughter is very happy. The staff are friendly and understanding and so professional.
