He specialises in cosmetic surgery, hand surgery and micro-surgery. Outside of his private practice he also works at the Plastic Surgery Clinic at Bulovka Teaching Hospital in Prague.

Is also an assistant professor at the 1st Faculty of Medicine at Charles’ University in Prague and on the Institute of Postgraduate Education in Healthcare. He is a consultant of plastic surgery for University Hospital Motol, Prague.

Graduated from Faculty of Medicine JE Purkyne, Brno, Czechoslovakia, in 1977. He passed his first fellowship in General Surgery in 1981 and second fellowship in General Surgery in 1987. In 1996, he had his surgical fellowship at Washington University, St. Luis, Missouri, the USA, and microsurgical and laparoscopic sutures course, San Francisco, California, the USA. So far, he attended the bulk of other shorter courses and educational activities in the USA and European countries.

He is a chief surgeon in Hospital Jablonec nad Nisou.

Dr Vrany is a cofounder of laparoscopic and bariatric surgery in the Czech Republic.

During my studies I attended Maternity and Gynaecological Clinic and this profession became my fate. As a junior doctor and afterwards as an assistant at Maternity and Gynaecological Clinic.
