Co-Founder of the Vitrolive Gynaecology and Fertility Clinic, partner in The Fertility Partnership group. Vice President of Polish Society for Reproductive Medicine and Embryology, long-term Chairman of the Fertility and Infertility Section at the Polish Society of Gynecologists and Obstetricians, Chairman of the West Pomeranian Division at the Polish Polish Society of Gynecologists and Obstetricians, member of European Society of Human Reproduction and Embryology (ESHRE) and The American Society for Reproductive Medicine (ASRM).
He actively engages in spreading awareness in society by offering his expertise to media and publicity. Since 2018, he is a partner in The Fertility Partnership, one of the largest groups bringing together fertility clinics in Europe.
In 1992 he graduated with distinction from the Faculty of Medicine at the Pomeranian Medical University and in the same year began his employment as an assistant at the Pomeranian Medical University. In 1995 he defended his PhD thesis in embryology and reproductive medicine and gained a doctorate in medical science. In 1996 he achieved Specialist Grade I and in 1999 Specialist Grade II (with distinction) in gynaecology and obstetrics. In the field of gynaecology, he focuses mainly on the comprehensive treatment of infertility in couples (including reproductive endocrinology and assisted reproduction techniques) as well as gynaecological surgery. He is the recipient of multiple scholarships from the University of Antwerp and the Free University in Brussels, the leading European centres for infertility treatment. He is the co-founder of the Assisted Reproduction Laboratory at the Gynaecology and Reproduction Clinic of the Independent Public Clinical Hospital No. 1 PUM in Police, for which he received an award from the Rector of the Pomeranian Medical University. He is currently the Head of the Academic Department and Institute for Gynaecology and Reproductive Health at the Faculty of Health Science of the Pomeranian Medical University in Szczecin. He is also the co-founder of the VitroLive company and its unit The Fertility and Gynaecology Centre VitroLive. In addition to his clinical work, he is also active in scientific research in the field of reproductive medicine. He is the author of various scientific titles focusing on infertility, which are frequently published in prestigious medical journals. For his scientific work, he has received numerous awards from the Rector of the Pomeranian Medical University. In 2002 he submitted his postdoctoral dissertation with the title “The optimisation of in vitro mouse embryo cultures, including the role of selected growth factors” and was granted the habilitated doctor degree in medical science. In 2008 he was awarded the highest degree of specialisation in clinical embryology (Senior Clinical Embryologist), certified by the European Society of Human Reproduction and Embryology (ESHRE). In 2009 he was granted a professorship by the President of the Republic of Poland. He has helped thousands of couples to fulfil their dreams of parenthood. In 2015 he was awarded the title of specialist in gynaecological endocrinology and reproductive medicine. He successfully led the Vitrolive clinic during the integration process with the European group The Fertility Partnership, bringing together carefully selected institutions offering their patients the highest documented treatment standards, effective treatment methods and support during the entire treatment journey.
He is currently the Head of the Academic Department and Institute for Gynaecology and Reproductive Health at the Faculty of Health Science of the Pomeranian Medical University in Szczecin as well as the medical consultant in the Department of Gynaecology at the Independent Public Institute of Healthcare (Samodzielny Publiczny Zakład Opieki Zdrowotnej) at the Ministry of the Interior and Administration in Szczecin.
