He studied Biology and Biochemistry at the University of London and Metropolitan graduate in Prenatal Genetics and Fetal Medicine at UCL, London. He continued his postgraduate studies and completed his PhD at UCL studying chromosomal abnormalities and genetic diseases in human embryos. He entered the field of embryology and completed the certification acquiring ACE diploma embryology. He studied at the Department of Biological Applications and Technologies, University of Ioannina. She continued her studies attending the graduate program 'Prenatal Genetics and Fetal Medicine' at the University of London (UCL).
