Consultant Obstetrician and Gynecologist Graduated in 1961 from Cairo University

Diploma of General Surgery Masters degree in Obstetrics and Gynecology.

Head of the department of Obstetrics & Gynecology in Agouza Hospital until 1997. Doubled the size of the Gohar Hospital in 1981 to include new rooms and a neonatal intensive care unit.

He completed his surgical residency at the National Cancer Institute during which he earned a Masters (M.Sc.) in General Surgery in 1992. He continued his postgraduate studies in England where he became a member of The Royal College of Obstetricians and Gynecologists - London in 1994.

He was elected fellow of The Royal College of Obstetricians and Gynecologists - London in 2008.

In 1997, Dr. Hussein joined the Gohar Hospital adding to his grandfather's legacy and working alongside his father, Dr. Sherif Gohar.

He recently opened a second location for Gohar Women's Health Clinic in the 6th of October City.
