Patients should never be put under pressure to book for surgery or be penalised financially IF they change their mind about surgery after a booking. Every patient on an Accuvision surgery day is under no financial pressure to proceed to treatment, which is the way all clinics should operate, but don't so beware!

Epi-Lasik is a treatment plan that has been offered at Accuvision for over 10 years. The highly advanced laser technology used at Accuvision allows the surgery team to carefully remove the epithelium layer using the laser. The laser is then used a second time to correct the prescription. Both treatments take a matter of a few seconds.

Once the procedure is completed a bandage contact lens is placed over the eye to protect it while the epithelium grows back rapidly over the smooth surface of the cornea.

Armed forces personnel and those patients involved in contact sports are treated with this procedure in addition to those patients with thinner than normal corneas.
