Marguerita is a registered osteopath who joined the Rêve Pavilion last year. While working at the Rêve Pavilion she saw the successful results of the Sunflower Therapy so she chose to take the Sunflower Practitioners training course, which she completed in the summer. Marguerita also has qualifications in sports massage, manipulation and dry needling/acupuncture and combines these therapies with osteopathy to add further benefit to her treatments. She tends to use gentle techniques such as soft tissue, gentle joint manipulation, harmonic and myofascial release and enjoys treating people of all ages, including women, the elderly and children. Before training as an osteopath she worked as a personnel manager in industry and the City, so she understands work-related injuries, illness and stress, as well as health and safety issues and ergonomic design. Marguerita’s approach is holistic and pragmatic, addressing the consequences of modern living and facilitating change whether this is through the provision of lifestyle advice or individualised corrective exercise plans.

BSc (Hons) Ost. Tim is a registered osteopath, having qualified at the British College of Osteopathic Medicine. He has worked at the Rêve since 1998. As a qualified Sunflower Practitioner he enjoys helping children with learning, behavioural and health difficulties to better achieve their potential. Tim was involved in the original Sunflower Therapy Study. As a keen sportsman Tim’s other interests lie in treating sports injuries. He works with sportsmen and women competing at the highest levels and these include professional rugby players, current WPGA competitors, tennis professionals and the Shidokan GB Team. Structural aspects of the Sunflower Therapy and foot biomechanics of sports people have led Tim to apply the latest computer technology using the RS Scan software to correct dysfunction of the foot and prescribe orthotics. Before qualifying as an osteopath Tim’s career had been in the IT industry and satellite communications running projects throughout the UK and northern Europe.

Traditional European Herbalist, Philip Evans has been practising since 1991 and is available on Tuesdays and Thursdays at the Rêve. Mark graduated in Ecology from Edinburgh University in 1969 and was subsequently responsible for managing the set-up of the National Centre for Alternative Technology in Wales. Mark qualified as an Osteopath in 1979 and then completed his first course in Applied Kinesiology in 1984. Mark continues to study with the world’s most knowledgeable teachers of Applied Kinesiology and has himself published widely on the subject. He’s also trained in Neuro-Linguistic Programming over many years and graduated from the Robbins Research International Mastery University. In 1988, Mark established the Rêve Pavilion Natural Health Clinic providing an integrated and multi-disciplinary approach for the treatment of all kinds of health problems. Being dyslexic himself, Mark has always had a special interest in helping children with learning difficulties. In 1995, he set up the Sunflower Trust. This is a registered charity with a key aim of making available the Sunflower Therapy, a pioneering method developed by Mark at the Rêve Pavilion, to help treat children with learning difficulties.
