Biography:
MRCGP Interests: General Practice, Women's Health - Gynaecology and Reproductive Health, Sports Injury and Musculoskeletal Medicine; Acupuncture. Dr Sarah Osborne studied Medicine and Surgery degrees in Leeds graduating in 2006. She went on to complete GP training in York, gaining membership of the Royal College Of General Practice (MRCGP) in 2011. She has since gained experience as a salaried doctor working in York at a busy NHS GP surgery. Studying her special interest subjects over the years, she developed an interest in women's health and now holds a diploma in Sexual and Reproductive Health and is fully trained in coil fitting and contraceptive implants. She is currently undertaking study at Bradford University to gain further diplomas in gynaecology. Outside of work Sarah is a keen runner and a member of York Knavesmires harriers. She has competed many of races over a variety of distances and terrain and is currently training for Boston marathon and a 12 hour event. She retains interest in a number of sports but running is her passion. As a result of this hobby she has gained interest in sports medicine and treating sport injuries. She has training in acupuncture creating the opportunity to provide more treatment options for patients.
