He has a strong interest in Occupational Medicine. Other clinical interests include psychiatry and musculoskeletal medicine. He performs spinal manipulation, minor surgery and the insertion of contraceptive implants. He also is involved with teaching the Year 5 medical students from the Hull York Medical School.

His clinical interests include cardiology, neurology and he runs the practice Diabetic Clinic with the assistance of practice nurse Anne Mead and Deborah Thornton.
