Review Beware - this doctors surgery is incompetent. This is a surgery who when my dad complained of a pain in his knee was simply told he had arthritis and that he was getting old (at 47?). He later had a hospital appointment to x-ray his hand and asked them to check his knee instead. A piece of bone had come away from his knee and he had to have keyhole surgery to fix it. This is a surgery who when I said I thought I was pregnant refused to do a test to confirm this and offered me absolutely no support, instead the doctor (still not sure he was a qualified doctor?) became aggressive and argumentative. Totally unprofessional. I was visibly shaking and when I left the surgery was in tears. I had no idea what to do, what I should and shouldn't eat, there was no mention of folic acid, no support on stopping smoking. The only thing he would tell me is "I book it up", which when I pressed him meant he'd book a hospital appointment. I later received a choose and book letter in which I had to book a hospital appointment myself. He asked whether I'd "had any problems *a quick look at my privates" down there" (must be a medical term I'm unfamiliar with) and after I explained my smears had been normal for the last 10 years he preceded to write down on the letter to the hospital that I had abnormal cells. That was the moment I decided enough was enough. And throughout all of this a receptionist kept popping in and out, leaving the door wide open in full view of the waiting area to discuss such things as a mobile phone had been going off non stop and deciding she wanted to shut a window.
