Kurt UK
Reviewed 25 May 2017 "I would definitely go again"
"Unscheduled early evening appointment for my daughter G8 seemingly suffering from an infection with high fever. Found a slot, quick diagnosis by Dr. Gill and prescription of antibiotics and bacterial (Streptococcal) throat swab on the basis of a suspected throat infection. Treatment was not effective insofar swab test came up negative for bacterial infection, ie probable viral origin which antibiotics cannot remedy to. One could argue that antibiotics are overprescribed and even in the case of Strep A infection have limited effect (shorten symptoms by 14-16hrs only). But, if your child has >40C fever you tend to value the psychosomatic aspect a bit more. Also, you want to rule out you haven't missed anything else. Good value consultation (GBP100), higher than average cost of throat swab (GBP80 as opposed to approx. GBP60 elsewhere). Was easy to book appointment even at this early evening hour on a Friday. Friendly reception staff.

The clinic is local to us, easy to reach by either public transport (DLR, bus) or car (paying to park next to the building where the practice is located). Easy booking process. Clean and modern reception area, quick emailing of doctor's notes and referral information was given to get to the closest open pharmacy. Would go again."
Dr Gurpreet Gill responded to this review:

Many thanks for your kind words. Our rapid swabs are £80 and our standard swabs are £60. The rapid swabs results are back within 24-48 hours.
