Biography:
Dr Martin Harris qualified from the Royal London Hospital in 1976. Previously he obtained Honours degree in Pharmacy, specialising in Pharmacology. After hospital experience, Dr Harris trained in general practice becoming a Member of the Royal College of General Practitioners in 1981. Dr Harris has been in practice at the Temple Fortune Health Centre since 1981. Dr Harris has special interests in Maternity & Obstetrics & Family Planning Thursday morning session with Sister Lyn Deacon for Well Woman Clinic followed by baby clinic and child health.
This is a teaching practice. Occasionally medical students in training and doctors gain experience and insight into the general practice aspect of disease, illness and sickness. Dr Harris has been elected to the Barnet Local Medical Committee & Executive and Representative to the British Medical Association by colleague doctors to represent fellow doctors locally and to attend national conferences of the profession.
