Rating from 5 Reviews Super serviceVicki, UK, 16 May 16

My 2 year old had a vaccine for chicken pox. The reason we went was purely location, so the fact that it was a great service, is a bonus! Will be back to the second one in 4 weeks. Super service, we had an appointment before the clinic opened and the doctor was really good and gave us all the info we need. Didn't spend more then 10 mins in there.

Park Private Clinic

Rating from 2 Reviews Doing wondersParisa, UK, 24 Mar 15

Course of Microdermabrasion To reiterate what I've said before, the venue is centrally located, clean and calm. The microdermabrasion treatments are doing wonders for lifting YEARS of acne scarring, and Shawana the woman treating me is getting rid of the excess sebum currently causing me acne too! I have had a microdermabrasion with oxygen mask, and now on a 6-treatment course of microdermabrasion on its own. Shawana puts in the extra mile with me, and I see myself coming to Park Private Clinit as a long term customer. After each session you will have redness from the work done, and this is normal. on't put on make up, go to the gym or sweat for 24 hours after so it doesn't antagonize your skin further.

Dr Wayne Cottrell

0203 322 9884 ext: 80987 Freedom Clinics, 34 North Colonnade, London, E14 5HX
Rating from 14 Reviews Made me feel extremely comfortableStephen, UK, 13 Aug 15

I did several STI tests, including a full range of HPV tests, gonorrhea and chlamydia tests. I would absolutely recommend a friend to do these with Dr Cottrell and felt that the value provided was excellent. There's a reason Dr Wayne Cottrell gets glowing reviews: he deserves them. As a patient with OCD and anxiety, he was very attentive to my specific concerns. Before, during and after my treatment, I had questions upon questions that I needed answers to and he was always there to provide them. He is a consummate professional, very open and friendly, attentive, non-judgmental, and ultimately made me feel extremely comfortable in his presence - something that has great value to me. All of this also seemed perfectly natural to him; none of it forced. I cannot forget to mention that he provided excellent service and treatment throughout, ensuring the highest quality experience overall. I have been to multiple private clinics internationally, and the service, care, concern and time given by Dr Cottrell surely ranks in the highest tier I have personally encountered. I feel obliged to recommend him to others.

Hepatitis Vaccine From £35
Hepatitis A Hepatitis A is an infection of the liver caused by the Hepatitis A virus. It is caught through contaminated food and water or through person-to-person contact if personal hygiene is poor. It causes a range of issues including jaundice, nausea, fatigue and fever and can last from a few weeks to a few months. There is no cure for Hepatitis A so treatment is usually supportive. A single injection of the vaccine should be given two weeks before you leave, although it can be given up to the day of your departure if necessary. This will protect you against Hepatitis A for about a year. A booster dose, given 6–12 months after the first dose, will protect you for at least 20 years. Each dose of Hepatitis A vaccine costs £40. Hepatitis B Hepatitis B is a serious disease which affects the functioning of the liver. It can go on to become a life-long chronic condition with serious effects, including liver failure, scarring of the liver and liver cancer. There are currently more than 2 billion people in the world that have been infected by Hepatitis B, which is one in every three people in the planet. It is spread through contact with infected blood or body fluids, such as through sexual intercourse or sharing needles. Several different vaccines are available for Hepatitis B. Most require a course of three doses which are given rapidly over a one month course or given over a standard six months course. Each dose of Hepatitis B vaccine cost £35. Once you have completed the course, you should be protected against Hepatitis B for life. Healthcare workers are advised to have a booster dose after five years.
Occupational Health Vaccination
Shingles Vaccine From £149
What is Shingles? Shingles is an infection of a nerve and the area of skin supplied by the nerve. It is caused by a virus called the Varicella-zoster virus (this is the same virus that causes chickenpox). Shingles is sometimes called Herpes zoster. The symptoms of Shingles starts with tingling or burning in an area of the skin and is followed by the eruption of a painful rash usually on one side of the body or face that takes 2-4 weeks to resolve.  Shingles can occur at any age, but it is most common in people over the age of 50 years. About 1 in 4 people develop Shingles during their lifetime. It is also possible to get Shingles more than once, although fortunately fewer than 10% of people who have a first attack will have another one. Can Shingles be prevented? The good news is that there is now a Shingles vaccine available to people aged 50 and over (Zostavax). Zostavax has been shown to be effective in reducing the risk of older people developing Shingles, and even if you do develop Shingles then the disease is likely to affect you less severely. A national immunisation programme is available for those aged 70 - 79, but is being introduced in phases.  Can I be vaccinated privately? At Armada Travel Clinic we can offer Zostavax for those aged 50 or over. The vaccine is a single dose injection at a cost of £149. Please contact Armada Travel Clinic for further information or to book an appointment.

Rating from 2 Reviews Found the treatment to be excellent and promptMrs, Folkestone, 10 Jan 16

I contacted Dr Premnath after being badly let down for my disabled child by our local surgury, I was looking for help to find out why my child was suffering stroke like symptoms I found the treatment to be excellent and prompt, tests were organised and a second opinion and all were very prompt, He did not shy away from treating my son just because of a fear about his disability. Excellent in every aspect prompt appointments, polite staff and very human towards us, through examination and very reasonable charges for private care I will be registering the rest of the family as Private patients for our serious concerns.
